Merengue Restaurant

I love this spot! I have been coming here for years. I feel out of all the Dominican restaurants they don’t pick and choose prices every time you go. They have good prices for the food and the food is always fresh. Don’t get me started with the portions. My mom and I can eat off one plate but we like different meats sometimes so I usually buy two plates. The owner and staff are always so welcoming and treat their customers with kindness. I never had an issue with them and I send blessings they keep going for many years to come.

Merengue is a cafeteria style restaurant where you order going down a line of food. The predominant language is Spanish but you should not have much trouble ordering in English. The portions are very good. Plates of meat rice and a side salad start at $8 going up depending on what meat, and will definitely keep you full for a long time. It can be a bit hot inside. All the food I've had has been delicious, service friendly and portions leave you ready for a nap. They take credit but the minimum is $12 which can actually be hard to hit alone even with a drink. Dont go expecting a fancy spot, but go expecting authentic delicious food.

I got a piece of Oreo cake, a chocolate doughnut, and Dulce de Leche cookie, and a puddin de pan… I’m sorry but I would never buy their sweets again. It looks like they use the same dough for all 4 things because they were HARD as a rock! I tried warming up the doughnut but it was a failure. The inside was sooo hard that we had to throw it away. Actually all of them away

LOVE Merengue. Go here at least three times a week to get a great tasting hot plate at a reasonable price. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly, and the food is consistently good. Highly recommend giving it a try. Especially the rotisserie chicken!

This place overcharged me and I got to the car i noticed i did not get all of the food I had ordered. When I went back to the restaurant they said I had to pay again and wait in the long line again. This was the worst service I have experience. Mind you i drove to this restaurant from Middleboro Massachusetts about a 45 min drive. This was a waste of time and money. They did not give me a receipt either. Very poor service. NO LOS RECOMIENDO Parking: Uncomfortable

Ordered on Doordarshan. When they got there they didn't have chicken to complete my meal.... canceled it nd didn't give me a refund.Service: 1/5

This is a good place to get a quick bite. They have all the typical Dominican dishes. You can choose from many different meats, usually beef, chicken, pork and sometimes fried fish but my favorite of all is their roasted chicken.

They got some good local food hear.. I came here with my teacher to get some food it was my first time and I can say i was impressed.. It's not anything fancy but its a nice local Dominican spot.
