During the early planning process this was one of the toughest decisions I had to make and after talking to both MichaelAngelos Events and MerryMe Events several times I made the decision to move forward with Cher and Kevin with MerryMe Events - and it was one of the very best decisions we made! This was an elegant 300-person wedding in the new Dahnke Ballroom at Notre Dame and every detail needed to be perfect - and with Cher’s assistance and guidance along the way it was! This text from my daughter the night of the wedding says it all: “We didn’t get to say good night to you guys! Thank you for the best wedding ever!! It’s more than we could have ever dreamed of!! Love you!” Believe me I am not always easy to deal with but through it all we worked together to give our only daughter and son in-law a day they will always remember! To be an exceptional wedding planner, besides being creative, I feel you need patience, flexibility, and to be able to appreciate and understand the nuances of your client so you can work together. Cher did this and it was most appreciative - and the end result was just breathtaking! In addition to Cher being the wedding planner and day of coordinator she also worked with us on the design and arrangements of all the flowers as well as the cocktail and wedding reception linens, table decorations, lighting and much more! Cher and her team have always exceeded expectation when it comes to service, quality, and event design. I have worked with Merry Me Events on several occassions and am grateful for their creativity, integrity, and professionalism!

I can't believe that I'm Merry Me's first Google review! As an out-of-town bride, I knew I would need help planning a wedding in South Bend. I was referred to Cher and Merry Events by a friend who, herself, is an event planner. (I knew she would know who to go to!) This was, by far, the best vendor referral I've ever received. If I could give Cher and her crew, 10 stars, I would. Cher, and her team, are an absolute pleasure to work with. From our first meeting to the last, she was everything we needed in a planner- her ideas, flexibility, commitment to her brides, creativeness and professionalism were outstanding. She was able to work with our budget to create something I could have never put together ourselves. She designed our flowers, decor and even the details on our cake! Our assigned Day of Coordinator, Richelle, was everything we hoped- she was under the radar, and moved our day right along and on schedule. The day of was effortless, and thanks to Richelle, no one in our family had to worry about the tiny details. That alone is worth EVERY penny. She was professional, flexible, and our families enjoyed working with her. Most importantly, Cher made me feel secure in our budget, planning and those tiny details. Let's face it, how many of us have planned our weddings before? Sometimes, you just need a little positive assurance in your decisions and time-lines. I hope, we are able to work with Merry Me again!!!
