I hired Metro AC to install electrical gas heater for my restaurant. I was happily surprised that they were able to set up an appointment so quickly. I had a few other quotes but their price was the best. Metro AC techs showed up promptly as promised and did a totally professional installation.
I did few shop drawing for metro air cool. They never pay me for that jobs. Instead they ask me to to another shop plans without pay for previous jobs. This is not nice.
I called Metro Air Conditioning to fix my ice cap air conditioner. They arrived when they said they would and checked my air conditioner. It needed a good cleaning and some adjustments. The air conditioning technician was very informative and told me exactly what he needed to do and gave me the price up front. My PTAC wall unit works fine now. I will definitely call Metro Air Conditioning again. Good to know there is an air conditioning Company in NYC I can trust and who can service my units . Thank you Metro AC.
My split-unit AC had been having problems. The fan was running but there wasn’t any cooling air coming out. No good in the summer!! I called MetroAirCool based on my super’s recommendation – and they were able to fit me in immediately – and resolved on the spot! While they were there, I showed them another issue my condensate pump being too loud -- and they sent a proposal a few hours later to replace the pump – and fixed the issue a couple of days later! Then I had another issue with the AC completely unrelated to the prior two – and they came/reviewed and resolved IMMEDIATELY! All I can say is WOW! They were the most courteous, reliable and efficient HVAC company I have ever worked with! I would highly recommend Metro Air Cool to anyone in need of AC service!! 5-stars!!
Worst company EVER!! They will scam you blind. Not only did they claim that my company needed repairs to the commercial A/C unit - that were untrue; my super had to redo the damage they caused during their "maintenance", and they charged well over $500. We paid, the unit broke few hours later, they refused to come back, refused to pick up the phone. We have now disputed the charges, and they keep running the credit card again and again. I think contacting a lawyer will be a next step. I highly recommend you stay away from Metro A/C.
We had a AC emergency and METRO came to the rescue when several other companies couldnt see us for over a week. Fast, very professional same day service. Our unit had to be serviced and they came back at 7:45AM before scheduled time to pick up unit. No complaints . Tony and Luis were professional. Will upgrade review when we get unit back.
I have a central A.C. system that stop working. I arranged a scheduled time for Metro A.C. to come and they showed up on time. The technicians were very professional and courteous . They took a look at my central a.c. unit and spotted the problem. It was a part that they needed to order but they arrived with the part the next day and they fixed my unit. Very satisfied with the service from Metro AC.
I would give these guys a 0 star if Google would allow me to do so. A couple of guys showed up to install a wall air conditioner. They had no idea what to do with the unit and ended up installing it incorrectly. The unit came with a special airflow grill that was supposed to be installed. They didn't install the Grill. The unit came with foam cushioning material that was also incorrectly installed. And they had no idea that the unit needed to be "earthed" until I showed them the instruction manual. And I forgot the mention, they charged $149 for the job. It took ten minutes to do. And they also charged $89 for doing maintenance on a second unit which involved doing nothing as they didn't know anything about the unit or how to even take the filter out. After ten minutes of fiddling one guy figured out how to take the filter out and then, after washing it, couldn't figure out how to put it back together. I just found out that they left a piece of the filter near my sink! Atrocious.
