Metro Appraisals

If you hope to take advantage in a real estate property related engagement and have no scruples about getting a biased property appraisal to do so, this is where you want to go. Metro Appraisals even contradicted their own earlier appraisal of the very same property when it was appraised the second time while it was in better condition and in a much better market for the second appraisal in order to cater to the target value assumption of the bill paying client. The consolation is that since the Metro Appraisals bias is so blatant and the appraiser they sent doesn't have active licensed appraiser certification status, their appraisal is useless. Why would they send an appraiser to do the second appraisal that doesn't even have an active licensed appraisal certification? Wouldn't a professional organization send a mentor-supervisor along with someone in the process of earning licensed appraiser certification status if this appraiser is in that process (I don't think someone can verify an appraisal opinion without walking the property themselves...particularly since even the photos the second appraiser used were negative..interesting to compare how differently my two other professional appraisers more thoroughly represented the property in every way, including photo content, quality and comprehensiveness). This IS supposed to be a professional organization with standards and these Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board licensed certifications are meant to be important and relevant aren't they? Isn't that why professional appraisers work so hard to get and maintain ACTIVE licensed appraiser certification status? So they were .... (1) wrong with the first appraisal? (2) Or..wrong with the second appraisal? (3) Or ..influenced that much by the bill payers disposition and that is what their appraisal "opinions" are built on? **Summary = Metro Appraisals is untrustworthy, unprofessional and irresponsible ** It seems there isn't a code of ethics, responsibility or logic that applies to this company.

terrible attitude terrible communication and terrible appraisals goes more off thier personal opinions ignores comps, bank evals. current appraisals from other companies and growth potential puffs out the chest on how long been doing so Mr. Mc Cay is never wrong..just so you know, by far worst I have ever ran across, dont care if lenders appraiser even appraises it for more

It is a great company to work with. I have used them since 1993, and I can't say enough about them.
