Wow, I've reviewed this place with my other account, wishing i could give them negative stars yet somehow even tho i reviewed it months ago and have a guide rating of 6 on that google account.... its no where to be found on their reviews! No wonder why they somehow have a 4-star rating when their nonferrous head guy managed to leave off about a $1000 in scrap copper i brought in off my receipt and gave me the wrong price for a ton of aluminum i brought in! Literally a ton 2000lbs giving me the scrap siding 40cent per lb. price when it was clearly extruded aluminum valued at 80cent pre lb. At the time and claiming almost everything i brought in was something less valuable than it truly was! I know my metals, and he does, to which is why he had to tell the other guys to put the metals in the wrong sorting bins repeatedly! If you know what's good for you, go anywhere but here! Theyre thieves that when you are unhappy with the price they give you your only choice is to take the money or get nothing because he'll say your metal is already mixed in with theirs and theres bo way to give back what they stole! When will something be done about this! And google is withholding reviews that actually tell people the true nature of this business, and i wonder how many others!?

I turned in non ferrous metal on the 14th and the 16th of November. It's now December 5th. I had not received my checks so I called and was transferred to Jared in the payment department. He checked and the checks had not been returned or cashed. I said to cancel the checks and asked if I could just come in and pick them up. He stated Oregon law said they had to be mailed. I was okay it's the law hung up the phone and Googled Oregon non ferrous law we're it states after 10 days I can come and pick up the check. So he lied to me, I called him back and informed him of the law. Which he should know since he's in the metal recycling industry. He then told me it's there policy to mail them. Even though the the states I'm allowed to pick it up. It took 5 days for me to receive my checks from Far west and Calbag. Do not give these lair's your business.

Thieves and liars! Its take the money they offer or have your metal stolen by them and leave with nothing! The nonferrous head guy will tell you, "Sorry, you dont like the price, but your metal is already mixed with ours and won't be returning it!" After leaving $100s off your ticket only paying half of what they claim to saying you brought in different materials then you truely did! Go anywhere but here!!!

For semi-trucks Appointment isn't problem here . They can take load bit earlier or late . Just on entrance is scale . The are quick . After u have to wait for them to ascot you to dock . The waiting part depending on how many trucks are front of you . They have only one dock , taks about half an hour to unload . After u have to get out & re-enter to scale empty .

Sold my scrap metal from my junk tin Shed and made quick 20$… I recommend junk-in your scrap metal to Metro Metals… quick they cash you out checks or they have a quick ATM withdrawal… you pick.

It's friendly & respectful but I turned in my #1 bare bright copper wire clean the clerk told me that chk will be sent on Wednesday & check will be reached at Address on Saturday didn't come in yet people been complaining alot about same problem I just had to try see if it was true & it is. Their respectful workers.They should keep & hold what they say to customers Action speak loud than words.

Great place to bring and sale your precious metals or tin regardless of prices are low this company pay better than any other company in this area a recomend sale in here beside they treat you whit respect best regards

Everyone was so helpful all the employees were very nice and polite it went smooth definitely a good place to go!!!

For the most part I like this yard. Just not my favorite. They need something posted at the scale office and out side the non ferris office stating the cash machine is down though.
