Just had a great experience getting a tire patch done at Metro Motor. The team was friendly, the shop was clean, and the pricing and job they did was straight forward and done quickly! For reference, we have foam filled tires with a big bolt stuck in it that was patched for $25. Meisa was especially awesome: he answered all my questions, was personable and friendly, topped up the air in all my tires and chatted car maintenance for the 10 minutes it took to park, patch, and be on my way.

My wife and I have been looking for a good mechanic since we moved here over a year ago. Dealerships always price gouge and we wanted a place that would do quality work for a fair price. This place does all that and more. Incredibly friendly staff. Inspection, tire rotation, and oil change altogether took about an hour. I highly recommend this place!Services: Oil change

Honestly, one of the BEST and most HONEST places I have been to in years. I had a small nail in my tire. I decided to take my Toyota to the local Toyota dealership on Richmond Hwy - huge mistake. Besides a minimum of a 1.5 hour wait for the repair they wanted $54 to patch the tire. Of course, that is if I didn't require a brand new tire! Absolutely insanity. I knew for a fact the tire could be repaired. The price to repair plus the extensive wait time made me want to find another place to do the simple job. I drove down the road to National Tire and Battery - another mistake. Not only excessively priced, but wait time was just ridiculous. Frustrated, I drove a little further down the road and tucked away on North Henry Street, Alexandria was this service station - Metro Motor. I stopped in and was greeted by very friendly staff. I explained what I needed - "No problem, said Aryan Oraei." He sent a technician, Meisa sorry for mistake in pronunciation. In like a minute he saw the problem and got to work. Literally he repaired the tire in like a minute or two. He was very skilled and competent. Total for the repair $25! I cannot even begin to tell everyone how positive my experience was. I mean in today's world you know if you are needing a repair be prepared to get ripped off. I did not feel this at all at Metro Motor from the moment I walked in. In fact, the place reminded me of the gas stations I went to as a kid. The facility was clean and busy. You know being honest in business isn't a bad thing, but apparently a difficult thing for most to achieve. It's refreshing to find a place, especially randomly, that exceeds your expectations. Based on the other reviews I have seen about this location I would say they are accurate. I think their reputation is well deserved and earned. Dealerships on the whole are nothing more than money pits with dishonest practices. Its nice to know the FTC is going to impose some regulations on this industry soon. Dealerships are antiquated at best. If customers would refuse to patronize these establishments this would help the industry change for the better. Dealerships are overpriced, predatory, and frankly a poor excuse for true customer services. I believe places like Metro Motor with being fairly priced, honest, and competent can take business away from others who use questionable practices. Tried another auto shop in town and was given pricing that didn’t make sense for the work. Called and spoke with Metro Motor and they gave a fair estimate and we’re upfront about timing and pricing for the repair. I took my car into them that same day and got it back the next day! Super fast turn around with pricing ending up right about where they detonated it at. I also took my car back in for emissions testing which was quite and easy! Would recommend this shop to anyone, especially females since they didn’t make any part of the process intimidating and were very upfront about everything.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I meant to post this review a few months ago but this is hands down the best place to go in the DMV! Jeremy is the best and really cares for his customers. As a young female going to school across the country away from my dad who fixes most things in my car, it was intimidating to find a place to take my car for oil changes/anything else I needed. But not here! I had nothing but good experiences and will absolutely go back when I return to the DMV.Services: Oil change
