Not bad for Americanized Mexican! Lots of food and lots of variety Great atmosphere. I've been told the Margaritas are fantastic. You will defiantly go home very full and with lots of left overs. Staff is always great and very helpful. When I do on Sunday (which they say is closed) my favorite server is Abby!! She is sooo friendly and has the greatest smile. She always makes it extra special. Very friendly service. Nice waiter and very helpful hostess. Chicken tortilla soup and chips/salsa were tasty. The chicken fajita wrap was not so much. It was chicken breast, lettuce and tomato in a wrap with no sauce, dressing or seasoning (menu mentioned Caesar dressing which did not come with the meal). Silverware was not clean, so I nabbed another set. Lunch specials run between $9 and $10.

Mexican Village has been a mainstay of Fargo. I never really loved their food; but it was terrible the last time we were there. Servers were good, but the food was just awful. I actually regret spending my money here. Furthermore, with their past-history of mediocrity I would not risk my time or money to go here ever again. It's sad, because this is such a cool building, but that's the best part about it. New menu, new cooks, new food please. Try going authentic, something Fargo sorely lacks!

Love the salsa that is served with chips before any meal. My family has always tried to replicate because it is so good.

Ordered the steak fajitas. The steak came out 5-10 minutes after our other food was brought. The steak was luke warm, chewy, fatty, and flavorless. The waiter never checked back to see how our food was after he brought it out. When I commented on the steak being cold and chewy their resolve to the situation was to offer me food that they could make and take home, how about a discount on the food you brought to me knowing it was cold. I was also not offered a plate to actually put my fajita together.
