Great place if you just want scans. The doctor is rushed and doesn’t care. He told me everything looked fine, I had the scans read By a neuro-doctor, And he found a cyst and early signs of MS. So if you just want the scans done, awesome place. The ladies, Especially Lisa, were great and the radiographer was awesome. But If you want it read by a doctor, get a second opinion. 11/11 ETA: I got a call to discuss this review. I’m not saying he isn’t qualified. You can be qualified in all areas and still have no bedside manner. You can have all of the qualifications and still miss things. I drove an hour and a half down there and set up a consultation, which was a 30 second “all looks good” talk. I’m saying go for the images, not the report.
Excellent service from the initial phone call, to being welcomed upon arrival at the facility, to the care rendered by the technologists! I drove 30 minutes for this scan due to learning of MH Imaging’s brand new oval MRI, and with my shoulder injury… I was told I could keep my arm at my side during the scan vs over my head like in most scanners! The scan was quick and the technologists kept me informed with how long each part of the scan would take- so I was always in the loop! The cost was significantly less than hospital pricing and I was able to walk out with my images and my doctor received a detailed report within an hour of my scan! Would HIGHLY recommend!!
My wife had a MRI done at MH Imaging this past July and we would like to share our experience, not as a criticism of their service but to raise awareness of the rare but possible outcome of the MRI process. Her service required her to be laying on her stomach, face down. It was mentioned to her that it would only be about 15 minutes by the attending tech which has been disputed by management since. She was not comfortable especially in her head and neck area but was not too concerned given the timetable mentioned. Her exam turned into about an hour and fifteen minute ordeal as the machine malfunctioned during the process, the tech was on the phone with a manager for some time as my wife lay in the machine wondering what the long delay was. In the end she finished up and left the facility. That evening her neck began to stiffen up and by the following evening, with excruciating pain, she went to the ER room for analysis. She was given a couple prescriptions for relief of what could basically be called a pinched nerve in her neck. Five days of excruciating pain was followed with three chiropractor visits which helped immensely. Of course, we contacted MH right away to make them aware of the problems and they kindly offered to comp the service cost. They did confirm that indeed the machine malfunctioned as they said due to high humidly levels. We were satisfied with their refund for service however then the ER bills and chiropractor bills started to arrive - not to mention the prescription costs and lost days of work. Very costly indeed. We did share these costs with MH with the hopes of some sharing of the rehab my wife needed. They have refused to offer any more contribution. They have awesome reviews for the most part and my wife was very happy with all the staff - very friendly and professional. Just very disappointed that she had to suffer for 5 days after - missing work and in a miserable state while on the pain meds. We do hope that anyone going in for an MRI at any clinic gets absolute straight advice from all of the staff. Of course these events happen from time to time but it is a shame that the patient gets stuck with so many more costs and pain because of it. Lastly, MH Imaging provides a critical service at a reasonable price but we did find out later from our well known local medical network that their price would have been 50.00 less than MH had we asked for the cash price. Something to inquire about when you are exploring all of your options when looking for an MRI.
I would HIGHLY recommend MH imaging. I fell recently and dislocated my shoulder. I needed an MRI to confirm soft tissue and fracture. I called a number of different locations. My options quoted were pay cash $3,045, co-pay through my insurance was $1000 or $590 at MH imaging. They have a brand new 1.5 Tesla machine. Image quality was excellent. They got me in straight away. I drove straight to my neighborhood radiologist friend to help read the results. The MH imaging radiologist called me at 7pm, 30 minutes after I finished the test, with the results. Fantastic customer service.
I work for a busy Orthopedic Office with multiple locations and MDI is my go to for MRI's. They provide great images, they are reasonably priced and there is a miracle worker named Jeanne who is beyond amazing. I called her at 3 pm today Friday with an insurance problem. She not only fixed my problem but she called my patient and had him scheduled for his MRI all by 4pm!!!
MRI machines are my one thing I can't do. When I say that, I mean, my dr says, "you need an MRI", I hear, "we're gonna bury you alive". That's not a joke. The machines are the worst. I mean who designed a tube, that sounds like a jack hammer? Raymond Damadian, the inventor of the first magnetic resonance scanning machine in 1977, that's who. Raymond must not have been claustrophobic. I really wish a bunch of smart men and women would get together and figure out a bigger, wider, quieter machine. With all the technology in the world, I'm shocked this hasn't been done!! Imagine the money you could make if you figured it out With this said, the team at MH imaging didn't know they were getting a big cry baby the day of my test. I cried for 24 hours. The stress and anxiety are nothing to laugh at. However, Sue, the tech, got my scan down to 11 minutes lumbar scan and my husband was able to sit and keep his hand on my head just in case I needed to be pulled out in the event of power failure, that comforted me that he had his hand on me you might be laughing, but the team at MH were WONDERFUL!!! I made it through, tears dripping in my ears but because of a professional team who didn't laugh at my fear, but supported me, I did it!! Thank you!!
What a wonderful place to get an MRI done! The staff was amazing. I was very anxious pre-scan and they made sure to be as accommodating as possible to my needs.
Fantastic customer service from phone calls through office visit. Respectful of customer choice. 100% will be my choice for future imaging needs. Thank you for such a 1st class operation and fair pricing for self-pay.
This was my first MRI actually I had two scans done, so I was there for quite a while!. My experience was excellent; fast, professional service. My technician was caring and very concerned about my comfort. She gave me a blanket and headphones and asked my music preference - it was NOISY- but I actually think I slept for most of it. I received the CDs of my images minutes after my scans were done. And I was very pleased to be emailed the radiologist's report that same evening. I was a self pay patient and the costs were explained to me over the phone when I made my appointment. I would definitely use this service again!
Lowest price for my chest CT. Smiling and personable staff There was about a 15 minute wait, but the waiting room was comfortable, coffee is available My technician was friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. She gave me specific instructions also explaining in detail the reasoning. Unexpectedly received a CD of scan. I'll definitely use their services in the future.
