MIC King Music and Events

We hired Mic King Music for our wedding, they set up TVs for a slideshow during my father-daughter dance. They also did "dancing on the clouds" during our first dance. The TVs were perfect, they handled running the slideshow too which was such as relief! The "dancing on the clouds" was amazing!! It made our first dance look so magical! We were able to hire Mike from this company, the owner, he was amazing! He helped us plan our ceremony, answered general wedding questions we had along the way and was an amazing DJ. He coordinated all of the other vendors at our wedding and kept in close contact with our Day of Planner, MOH and BM to keep things running smoothly. The music was amazing it spanned from what we requested to what our guests requested and decades in between to be fully inclusive! It was a blast! The games and line dancing were definitely highlights of the reception.

I get to work with some of the very BEST DJs in Kansas City as an Officiant, and Mike and his team are the best. They do such a good job, especially when it comes to working the crowd with music, but also with their ownership of making sure the Wedding Day is perfect, and everything flows in an orderly manner. They are particular and want to help in ways that go way beyond just music. You can't go wrong hiring Mike King Music and Events. Oh, and they even do the Photo Booth stuff too, talk about a full service wedding company, that's what they do. Highly Recommend.

Mike King or Mic King, was an absolutely incredible addition to our wedding experience. He handled the audio for the ceremony perfectly, and with little direction from us, delivered on exactly what we wanted for the entire event. But the true benefit of having Mike as a DJ and entertainer for your wedding, is that he is also there for you in every respect, as a party planner, photography entertainer for kids photos, personal drink and food delivery. He literally was at our beck and call all evening, and made sure that we had everything we needed. We had a treat bar at our reception, and Mike made a grab bag of goodies for us before all the sweets ran out. If he hadn't done that, we wouldn't have been able to enjoy them. We both now consider Mike to be the best in the business and a trusted friend. Every other vendor we hired for our party was excited that Mike would be a part of it. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, don't think. Just book him now before someone else does.

Just used MIC King Music and Events for our wedding this past weekend and it exceeded our expectations! Mike was very professional and kept the party going all night! We received lots of compliments on him. And music aside, he went out of his way to keep the bridal party with drinks and snacks in there hand and pitched in to help in anyway he could when the weather didn't cooperate for our outdoor ceremony. Would definitely recommend him!

Mike is truly the "King" of entertainment and spinning the music for an event! He was truly a pleasure to work with in planning our wedding reception line-up of music, itinerary, and entertainment and had really helpful suggestions for organizing my daughter and son-in-law's special evening. Mike has all the music you could ever imagine, and I had a special version of the Temptation's, "My Girl", for our father/daughter dance that he found and was able to play for our time together on the dance floor. Besides being a DJ at our event, he was picking up finished plates of food, bringing drinks to our guests, picking up wedding gifts from our guests, besides taking care of the entertainment & being MC. I don't think he sleeps much! He is full of energy, but knew really how to make our night special. I was really impressed with Mike and his business, and wished that I could give him 10 stars! I definitely recommend him and his team for your special event. I'll never forget our's!
