When I was 9 years old I had Scoliosis and needed surgery! Dr. Millis was the absolute best doctor I could have asked for. He is kind, compassionate and really cares about his patience. 28 years later and I still have no issues and will NEVER forget him!
Man, Dr. Millis is seriously the best doctor. Smart, humorous and kind. Fixed my messed up hip with a 12 hour surgery he did flawlessly. Him and his whole team deserve all the awards. 10 years later and I will always talk so highly of him!
Dr. Millis is is hands down the best most caring doctor that I have ever met. I was born with hip dysplasia. I live on Long Island. I can’t even remember how many doctors I had seen prior to Dr. Millis. When I was 26 I was scheduled for a total hip replacement which was denied by the hospital. My orthopedic at that time researched my condition and found an experimental surgery done by only one surgeon, that surgeon was Dr. Millis. He performed an osteotomy on my left hip which extended its life for 20 more years. I am now 55 have had a total hip replacement a few years ago and am very grateful for the care that was provided to me by Dr. Millis. There is no other orthopedic that I would ever recommend. He goes above and beyond for his patients. I have the life I always dreamed of as a child. I no longer walk with a limp and other than arthritis I am pain free. Thank you Dr. M!!!!
Dr. Millis saved my life and my sports career. I had Spondylolisthesis when I was 10 years old. My parents made the hardest decision of their lives and put their financial well-being on the line to go to Children's Hospital in Boston and thank god that Dr. Millis was my Doctor. He not only performed a 9 hour surgery but he did such a great job that I was able to walk and eventually play sports in high school. I went on to be an all-state athlete and got into a great college because of sports. I would not be where I am today without Dr. Millis. He is truly one of the best.
Dr. Millis is an absolutely amazing human being and doctor. I had to have surgery on both of my hips a dislocation and debridement to avoid replacements I was headed for by this time and future cartilage damage. I was having pain daily before the surgeries 12 and 13 years ago now. I couldn’t even get in and out of the car or tie my shoe without pain. My range of movement was awful. The recovery from the surgery was long and the scars ain’t pretty, but it was 110% worth it. I am pain free, have MY hips, and have no restrictions. Dr. Millis takes the time to get to know his patients and he truly cares about them and their happiness. He makes sure he answers each and every one of your questions, and that you understand everything. I can’t say enough great things about him.
24 years ago today Dr.Millis saved my life. I had severe scoliosis and was in almost constant pain to walk any kind of distance. Life as a 10 year old in this condition was horrendous. Thankfully I ended up in the capable hands of a master at work. He was incredibly knowledgeable, direct and at times even feisty with other staff members to get me the best care possible. I've been totally pain free since his operation.Thank you for changing the course of my entire life sir.
Dr. Millis gave me my legs back. He believed me when I said I was in pain 8 years ago, and did everything in his power to help me. I'm going into Biomedical Research because of this man. He's honestly my hero.
Performed a PAO on me 9 years ago. To this day I have little to no pain... incredible surgeon. Saved my life
