My go to place for a real haircut , well done . I may only get mine done maybe 3-4 times a year but I'm glad it's here . Support your local shops !!

I don't go often, only because I don't get my hair cut but once a year. It's nice to have an old school shop in the neighborhood, who also keep up with new trends.

This is a classic barbershop with friendly barbers and a welcoming atmosphere. If you are looking for chain "glitz," this isn't the barbershop for you. If you want a comfortable environment and a good haircut, it is. They might even have a cup of coffee and a cookie for you as you wait, and you can call ahead to make an appointment with your favorite barber if you don't want to wait. I don't mind waiting because I like the environment. I tried several barbershops until I found this one on the recommendation of a friend. It is worth the wait.

Harry, I am sorry for your not so great experience. Michael has never cut my hair, but his Barber Shop has always been the place I go to get my hair cut. And Beth usually gets me! What a friendly environment and great staff to taker care of your every need. Try it out, you will never go to another place.

Harry. I'm sorry you did not have a good experience. Beth, the women you refer to, has been keeping customers at Michael's happy for over 25 years. Barbering is an art. And one barber can't keep everyone happy. Wish you would give Michael or myself a chance to satisfy you.

Being a Licensed hairstylist for 30 years & having one of the biggest shops in Delaware . I did not know where to go after selling my Salon . I came across this place after we bought our home in N Wilmington . What a fantastic place . I have been going & never have I walked out upset ! Try the young guy on the end ! He s great . My family has been going here for over 25 years. Customers range from 3 to 93 years old. Very friendly, family oriented, and brings you back to another era. Oh, and great hair cuts!

Barber with dark hair and beard shaved my husband's head and took off his sideburns without asking. I have never seen it so short-not a trim but a shorn!! Cute place but beware of this guy....
