Cozy and warm atmosphere. Delicious food. Unpretentious and fresh..Chicken pastina soup was comforting and delicious.
Saw the high ratings on google and placed large order for teen birthday celebration. Huge disappointment. hard crunchy crust, little flavor, very small toppings. Nothing tasted fresh. Nutley has tons of great pizza options, this is not one of them...
Pasta, fried calamari and Cesar salad were all delicious
I had the Chicken Parm.. delicious. Very large piece of chicken. Also tried the Penne Vodka which was the best penn vodka I've ever had. The service has always been great. Im a big fan of Michael's. Pizza here always taste amazing.
This restaurant earns 4 stars on the pizza alone. I absolutely love thin crust and this place makes some of the best thin crust pizza around this area. The restaurant is also very cozy and perfect for a night out. I've had a few other dishes here and I wasn't really a big fan. I only order pizza from here now.
Visited first time Entry way dingy and dirty. Should have take. This as a sign. The Server was excellent the food no so much. Ordered Chicken Michael thinking if a dish is name after the restaurant it should be excellent. I was very disappointed. Basically chunks of chicken with balsamic glaze. The chicken was not seasoned Vegetables mushy. Definitely would not return. Maybe the pizza is good but not the Chicken Michael
So I only ordered from here because someone else posted about the pizza and had pictures of a heart shaped pizza. I thought that it was an option and a cool idea for valentines. I ordered pizza after calling several times previously to verify that they do the heart shaped pizza every time I did that confirmed yes and to give good notice. I called and ordered and when I did the server remembered me calling previously I asked for the heart shaped pizza. What did I get a ROUND SHAPED PIZZA. Not really special either. The crust was good, what they advertise as a specialty but that was it. greasy standard pizza. It was a let down as a gesture for a loved one...smh.
Disappointed. I ordered the thinny thin quite often before the place shut down. I was SO excited when I was told they'd be opening again, and with the same/original recipes as before. This tasted NOTHING like the thinny thin from before. Definitely not worth spending $20.
Soooo sad..We used to love this place. Ordered pizza to be delivered..when it arrived almost an hour later it was cold and hard and disgusting..they must of realized it bc they offered to send us a new one immediately...we declined. We decided to give it one more shot...OMG the spaghetti and meatballs tasted like watered down tomato sauce..no flavor, no spices and after biting into the meatball, there was some kind of string that had made it's way into the meatball..grossed out, we asked for the check and left. I truly hope they clean up their act and become the neighborhood place again. But judging by our dinner, they have a long road ahead. Not to mention that on a Thursday night when traditionally there were no tables to be had...there was 1 other table eating pizza..no one else in the place..again...so sad
This is a little gem, on a street with 7 other Italian/pizza places...we go out of our way to go here every time we come to the area! Their cream sauce is out if this world, their ceasar salad is the best I've had, anywhere, and their rotating desserts never fail to delight. It is tiny inside, we had to fold our stroller up and just put the baby on a chair, but it is worth it!
