Glad we made reservations- they are renovating main dining area. Server was very attentive & thoughtful. Food was tasty and had leftovers. Cheesecake w/ graham cracker crust with Blueberry topping was the perfect ending. Would like to come back for Brunch soon. Kid-friendliness: Can accommodate children Parking: Free lot parking
We went there for lunch! The food is amazing, service is excellent and we definitely enjoyed our experience they have a very beautiful patio if you prefer outdoor seating. recommended
We had the Chicken and Waffles. The chicken was delicious and the waffle was about average. We also had the Crab Cake Benedict. The poached egg was perfectly cooked and was creamy as expected. The crab cake could have used a little more flavor as it played second fiddle to the other flavors of the dish. I like their twist with the log cabin old fashion, try it! It's definitely sweet though, so be aware. The atmosphere was pretty live event for an early Saturday afternoon. Also, it's in a great location and has lots of parking all the way around the building. Hint, the main entrance is in the back of the building.
Saturday Night + Outdoor Seating & Bar = Amazing New Patio @Michael’s Cafe! Great location, VERY awesome Staff, delicious food & overall cool atmosphere! Lobster Roll is a must TRY!
This was my first time at Michael's Cafe. The atmosphere is nice and calming. There are options to sit at the bar and dining room. Grace was our server and she was great. She answered all of my questions. She was attentive and professional. The calamari was very good and full of flavor. I ordered the pitbull sandwich and altered it a little and it was tasty. Someone else had the crab cake and said it was also tasty and seasoned.
Casual but cute little restaurant serving your standard brunch items. Dropped in on a busy Sunday afternoon with some friends and had a great time. The drinks are great. I had the Paloma and the sangria and couldn’t have been more lit. The food is good, but nothing phenomenal.
Was excited to give Michael’s a try. I had the crab stuffed shrimp and my partner had the special, spicy honey salmon. Both of us had upset stomachs afterwards. Not sure if it was the kitchen or the server but the aftermath was rough. The server Aimee also forgot my spinach originally and also put 6 sodas on our bill. Thankfully, I caught that and got it corrected. Probably won’t try the restaurant again. Atmosphere was nice. But server and upset stomachs were dealbreakers.
Would’ve given them 5 Stars if they had put more than 1 piece of lump crab meat on top of each deviled egg lol. I mean, I paid $5 extra dollars for lump deviled eggs. I could’ve just ordered the regular ones without the lump if I had known exactly how much crab would be added. Basically 1 TBSP of crab meat for $5 lol. Other than that, everything thing else was satisfactory. My son enjoyed his Reuben Sandwich. I had some sort of breaded lemon chicken w/sautéed spinach, and sweet potato fries.
We stopped in after church for lunch. Getting to the parking lot was no easy feat but we were able to find it and park. Upon our entry, we were greeted by the hostess and advised we wanted a table for two. We were then escorted to our table and given menus. Our server came and she had the sweetest mannerisms ever, saying please and thank you and was very attentive. It didn't take us long to decide on what to order, but unfortunately the item my husband wanted, the Pitbull, was not available, so he settled for the tuna sandwich and I had the Classic Benny. Everything was delicious! Flavors were spot on, and the chef deserves a gold star for providing flavorful food. I will say it was pricey, but the meal was worth it.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. We sat in the bar area, and it was a little on the loud side, but we knew where we were sitting. Service was great and the restaurant was clean and beautiful. Tables were cleaned quickly upon guests leaving. The food was top-notch and you can tell so much of it was fresh. The wine list was on the shorter side but they made up for it with the nice liquor list. I will definitely be coming back again!
