I worked with Mark and Jessica to reply to an IRS audit that was prompted when a previous tax preparer did not include a key document needed on the sale of a home. They were thorough, professional and very organized. They remedied the issue with the IRS quickly. I recommend this group.
I’m editing this cause I was a customer of this law firm on June 10, 2015. I paid about $5600 total. After having another lawyer look at my situation he said I should get a refund cause it was purely incompetent work. They would love to get paid in full but then they could care less about your case. After you submit a “offer and compromise “ and it gets rejected cause the numbers are wrong they will say here is a great bankruptcy attorney that can help you. Do yourself a favor and file it yourself from the IRS website. It tells you everything you need to know.
Michelle Turpin P.C. was the only tax firm I could find that didn't require at least a $2000 upfront retainer. My tax issue was confusing and I needed help but, it didn't justify retaining a lawyer to represent me. I was able to pay a $400 consultation fee and get all the advice I needed to understand my issue and be able to solve it on my own. Very helpful and worth every penny.
Just called to set an appointment, she charges $400 for a consultation just to "see" if she can even do anything. No thanks, already not confident that she can help me. I would pay anything to get this resolved but that much money doesn't gain my trust that she would honestly do anything, why would she, she already makes bank without actually having to do anything. Mind you I've had to deal with other attorneys for many different reasons and this is the highest consultation fee I've ever encountered. If it was to retain her ok but just a consult. No way.
