Michigan Department of Corrections

It's a prison, what is there to like. Even though I just work there, I'm not a prisoner, it still sucks. It's a negative atmosphere, there is nothing really positive you can take from the place other than everyone leaving safe at the end of your shift. There is rarely anything you can look back and say, Look what I accomplished. That makes it perfect for people that have should never get promoted getting promoted. While there are a few decent people getting promoted, the majority are idiots. The general belief is there are 2 ways to get promoted, screw up or suck up which holds pretty true. In closing I wouldn't recommend anyone going there, either because they committed a crime or for a job.
