Had an amazing date day with my husband here! They offered free tickets to veterans which is amazing! Love the support! No long lines today! Disagree with the parking fee prices, don't understand why it's that high! But overall had a blast today.

Fabulous place to spend a weekend! Great rides, great water park included in admission prices! Prices for food are a little high, but it's absolutely worth it with having both an amusement park and water park in one place! Great staff, clean restrooms and good variety of food choices.

Our first time and it was a loser. We drove to the park from Detroit for the first open day of the season on their calendar. We got to the gate and saw all of the kids rides were closed, we have 3 toddlers, and we were told it's essentially "physics day" and not really meant for the general public. They gave us a #sorrynotsorry and said it was basically our fault for not reading the press release. I showed them the calendar of their website and it has no description or notices about being a special event day or only half open/kids rides closed/etc. They gave me another sorry for your inconvenience, they will try to fix the website, but there is really nothing we can do and please come back Friday. Hint for you Michigan Adventure: you screwed up, offer me a discount on future tickets. Even the worst airline does that. I think this is truly a private special event day but they hope to squeeze a few dollars out of the general public and if a customer gets burned, oh well.

Won’t let me do a no star review or that’s what they would get. I am a renewing platinum pass holder and expect more for the nearly $900 I pay for my families passes. Rides down...then more rides down...then more rides down. Waterpark attractions operated on and off for most of the two days we were there. You would expect them to be better prepared for the start of a new season. Food and drinks have become more outrageous in price than even the larger Cedar Fairs parks, and the employees didn’t have a clue how to use my platinum pass for discounts, nor use my all season drink plans. Bought shorts for my daughter only to realize when she went to put them on a few hours later that they had a hole in them. Response at the store: no refunds or exchanges?!? Are you kidding me? Got an all day photo pass from Funfoto which turned into another nightmare as they failed to upload our photos to give us access to them. The things that we were able to do at the park were enjoyable, but the frustration and aggravation level was so high throughout the trip that it was hardly worth it. My advise: take a trip to Cedar Point, Kings Island, or one of the many other Cedar Fairs parks and encourage them to either update and improve Michigan’s Adventure or close it down completely. Either way would be a win.

Extra delay at entrance as metal detectors have been added. If going based on past most attractions will let you down. If first time you will have fun. Overall a great way to spend a day with the family.
