Microsoft

I love Microsoft and the design of the store but the employees are kind of lame. They used to have really enthusiastic employees who wanted to show you everything cool, now they just have people trying to show you featured products. They have the VR section taped off and don't invite you to try out anything that takes work to set up or time to demonstrate.

I love this store and I love the recent products by Microsoft. I have owned the Surface Book, Surface Book 2, and the Surface Laptop, and they're amazing products. Very innovative and very high quality, bar none. I had to turn in my Surface Book for service, and I couldn't bee happier with the support here. The staff is simply wonderful, knowledgeable, and respectful.

I had an issue with the screen on my Surface Book (discoloration) and took it to this store for help. The rep at this store was not helpful AT ALL and basically told me I'd need to pay $600 for a replacement screen. I decided to live with the discoloration and kept the screen for several more months, during which time a huge bulge developed. When I was in another city (SF), I decided it was time to replace the screen, and the rep at that location was MUCH more helpful. Not sure how there can be such a huge difference in levels of customer service between stores, but I highly recommend avoiding the store in Century City.

Great team working here. Feels almost quaint and homely next to the Apple Store.
