Mid-Mod Mall

So glad I found this place. We were going to go with the regular West Elm or Room and Board type stuff. But now we have really unique one of a kind items. David was so helpful and full of energy and excitement over our new house. He gave us so many great ideas. He helped us lay out our room, and it is in a configuration we never would have thought of but that works better than what we had in mind. We will keep adding items from this place to fully furnish our house.

If Mid Mod is your jam - THIS PLACE IS A MUST SEE!! Absolutely my favorite store as soon as I walked in! The team is fun to work with, they're so helpful and knowledgeable! Their inventory is vast and changes regularly - they move product quickly so snap it up if you fall in love with what you see as it won't wait! They instantly have a forever customer in me and my family as we will shop over and over as our house becomes a home. Amazing pieces, great condition and, they clean/light-refurbish everything before helping you load it into your vehicle! CHECK THIS PLACE OUT, you definitely won't regret it!!

VERY strong mixed reviews about this place. I was looking for a stand to put my records in and David made it custom and absolutely perfectly and I am so in love. I knew he had a big personality and was a bit all over the place, but I admired the artist in him. All his quirky comments were brushed aside because of how much I loved his work. After taking the piece home, David sent me a drawing of an idea on how he would like the piece to be set-up. I explained to him that I loved the idea but having things on the floor was unrealistic because I have a dog. He then replied back with this image depicting my dog hanging on a hook in the corner. Absolutely disgusting and not funny at all. I will not be shopping here again.

I bought a beautiful mcm table from mid-mod mall that David converted from a coffee table into a narrow dining table to fit our breakfast nook. He did an amazing job with that project and restoring the table, it looks amazing! We've also purchased some teak dining chairs from here as well and have loved them.

David and Betsy are quite knowledgeable and helpful. Betsy took time to sit with me and discuss what I was looking for, and helped me decide if the table I was considering was a good match for my chairs. Once I made the decision, David honored a price that we had previously discussed. Betsy helped me disassemble the table and ensure it fit safely in my car. They were both excited to receive photos and were lovely to work with.

I love to see small businesses that are still doing well in these challenging times. The owners were friendly and engaging. They offered to help. They had masks at the door and a reminder all who entered must wear them. The variety of great mid-century modern pieces is amazig and it nearly overwhelmed the space. It almost feels like they have out grown the showroom. It's fun to browse but it's always easier to buy when things are well organized and displayed. I understand the challenges though when there is more product to move than space to place it. It sounds like things move in and out quickly here. Makes sense it would be a bit crowded at times. My only disappoinment and suggestion is the lack of pricing for most of the items on the floor. I don't want to ask for pricing on everything I am interested in. That said, we will be back, we will be buyers, we love this stuff, but we are probably not going to ask for pricing for most things.

Mid-Mod Mall, it’s owner, and it’s staff are all amazing. We just bought a gorgeous record console from David, delivered by Matt. We couldn’t be happier. It’s more beautiful than we could have imagined. They really care, and go the extra mile for the customer. They take your sale personally, and you feel like you’re dealing with friends. They have a loyal customer in me!

Great service and prices! Michael and David both very kind and helpful. Found the perfect acrylic hydraulic barstools for a great price. David even called a local plastic refinishing place and told them to be nice to me when I take the stools to get some tiny scratches buffed out. They’re moving from 38th soon so go see them for great moving sale prices!

DO NOT SHOP HERE!! We used to have great interaction with David the owner until we purchased a $1,000 record player from him. It took 2 months to have it delivered and he sold us a completely unrepairable record player. The communication with him is nothing short of confusing and erratic. I am not sure why things have taken a turn for the worse at Mid Mod Mall but want to warn all potential customers before buying from here. So disappointed. David will not return our calls and we are out $1,000.

My friend and I had a very weird experience here. The store smells overwhelmingly of cigarette smoke. It wasn’t as if the smell was coming from one piece of furniture - I grew up around smokers and someone definitely smokes inside the store on a daily basis. The owner seemed unhappy that we were there because they were “in the middle of reorganizing” and the store was quite disheveled. I love the challenge of a rummage, but the owner again seemed unhappy that we weren’t looking for a specific item but wanted to browse. We quickly grew uncomfortable and left after just a few minutes.
