Midtown Optical

My 5 stars is based on the staff and customer service. I have always been happy to set an appointment and talk with staff about deals. Very helpful and able to work with insurance for payment. Have met both optometrist and they are super relatable. They helped me with some pairs of contacts when I was waiting on mine. Parking is sometimes difficult but at the end of the day I would prefer a great optical experience. This place delivers.

The staff at midtown optical shop fixed me up! They took my sisters broken glasses and spent quite a bit of time making them wearable, since she had no other choice at the moment but to wear these glasses. When I tried to pay they said no charge, just leave us a review on Google if you are able. If I lived in Oklahoma City this is where I would come for my glasses! Everyone there was fantastic!! Not only that, but they have these amazing New balance frames that have sport retention capabilities. No need to wear a strap to keep your glasses on during running or sailing. I am going to look for those in my hometown.

Have had a couple of frustrating experiences here and finally decided to write a review after today's events. When scheduling an appointment it was made clear that the visit was for glasses only. During the visit it was again made clear to the doctor that the visit was only for glasses. A contact exam was still performed despite this communication and a contact fitting fee was charged. Then when selecting new lenses using existing frames the charge was more than double the estimated cost provided by insurance estimate included new frames!!. It appears they added on unnecessary premium lenses or charged for higher tier lenses despite being told we just wanted very basic, standard lenses as these are not used very often. Dr.Greenhaw himself is wonderful but as a business it seems like their goal is to squeeze every penny possible out of unsuspecting customers.

First of all, I never give anyone a five star rating because I believe there's always room for improvement somewhere! Anyway, my wife has been struggling with eye problems for years, and no matter where I took her, everybody she saw just kept prescribing glasses, it wasn't until I brought her to Midtown Optical and Dr. Greenhaw that it was discovered that she needs eye surgery, She's scheduled for upcoming surgery next month, Thanks for catching what all the others missed Dr. Greenhaw

I am so pleased to have found this business. Josh was my first contact and he took care of everything I needed, including selecting frames. I also enjoyed interacting with at least 3 other staff members who reassured me that the frames I had selected were excellent! They had plenty of frames to choose from, and their facilities were warm and inviting, as was their staff. Excellent customer service!

I've been a patient of Dr. Greenhaw for several years now and I'm glad to say that even though his practice has grown, he continues to be very committed to taking great care of his patients. In fact, I recently had trouble with my contacts after a few months of using them and he and his staff took care of everything. They thoroughly checked everything to understand the root cause and determined that the contacts I had purchased must have had a defect of some kind. They replaced them free of charge and even sent me a text after my visit to make sure I knew that they wanted to hear from me if I had any further issues. I felt like they really cared and took the time to fix the issue with excellence. NOTE: If you're looking for a staff that will shoot the breeze with you and chit-chat about the weather, Midtown Optical might not be your favorite spot. But if you're like me and you value quick, efficient and courteous service, then you'll love it. This staff clearly values patients by being responsive, keeping processes smooth, running things as on-time as possible and offering the latest technology in optical health. Those are the kinds of things I value and I'm so glad Midtown Optical is close to my neighborhood. I always know that they'll take great care of me and I'll get the best in optical health services.

Been going for a few years now, they have been good for the most part... However, we went in today for the last time. As we were checking in with Josh and the other lady at the check in counter kept asking my wife the same question about our other child who was supposed to have his appointment later, who wasn't there yet because he was still in school till 4. I have never had an issue with anyone except this person and do not think it is bad... But if this is how you treat people who pay for your services we will not be returning.

Dr Greenhaw was great. I got a small foreign object in my eye while working and I needed to have it checked out and he took good care of me while I was there. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Cody Greenhaw, O.D. solved ALL my visual problems. I have “mono vision” and had a difficult time finding a doctor who could make me see. Even the Dean McGee Eye Institute failed me. Years ago, someone referred me to Cody Greenhaw, O.D. and after seeing him, I got eyeglasses which solved all my problems. When my cataracts got bad enough to treat, Dr. Greenhaw referred me to a fabulous Opthalmologist, Edward Jones MD. Thank you, Midtown Optical for taking care of all my needs.

5 star service from the moment you are greeted to the moment you are saying your goodbyes. Upscale environment mixed with that mom and pap small store feel. You get the impression that they truly care for their patients comfort and well-being. DR. CODY is probably the most sincere professional I've ever worked with. For years I've accepted that in my left eye the contact would adjust and I would have to constantly rub and use eye drops for comfort. DR. Cody noticed this all on his own and would not let me leave without some adjustments and additional recommendation. End result is he found the RIGHT contact to fit in my left that felt like my own eyes. The front desk girls were great. All lovely personalities that knew their stuff. They worked hard to find the best solution to get me the maximum benefit from my insurance. I can't say enough about this office and it's staff! I'm not easily wowed from most shopping experiences but got to give credit when credits due.
