Milky's Dominican Hair Salon

I stumbled upon Milky’s on a day I needed a last minute wash and set. It was a Tuesday around 10:30a and I was the only customer for a while. It was perfect! Milky is nice and the shop is clean enough. She speaks a little English and I speak a little Spanish, so we communicated just fine. The process was standard…wash, deep condition, roller set, blow dry, press. I initially asked for blow dry only no rollers, but she explained how the rollers help straighten edges so you use less time/heat with the blow dryer. Seems like the same amount of heat in the end, but whatever. The blow dryer was too hot a couple times, thankfully she used ear covers which was appreciated. I’m natural and Milky took the time to make my hair look great!! I have short-medium 4c hair, she charged $70. I was a shocked at the price because the price list shows natural wash and sets beginning at $45. The deep conditioners are free on Tuesdays, so I wondered why it cost so much. $70 is a typical salon price…Dominican salons are known to be more efficient and less expensive. My hair is silky and has a great bounce making it easy to wrap and go. Good experience overall, would go back for something last minute. Wouldn’t recommend as a regular stylist because of all the heat on your hair.

If you need your hair and nails to grow, shine, look gorgeous and its beauty to last for weeks this is the best beauty salon. Milky and Claribel are the experts and best Dominican stylists in Marietta and the whole Cobb County area. When you come in they welcome you with their dedication, warm attention in addition to the gorgeous work they do for your hair and nails. It is certainly a great self care experience you deserve and would not want to miss. 1000% recommended.

The service was good and quick. HOWEVER their shampoo needs to be checked I always bring my own but the one time I didn’t my hair texture COMPLETELY changed my curl pattern isnt tight and my roots are straight. I don’t want to accuse them of having some form of relaxer in the shampoo but there’s something off about it! My hair has never felt nor looked like this since I’ve been natural..I will not be going back!!Service: Hairstyling

I Always bring my wife to this great beauty salon. No matter how my wife comes in she comes out amazing in a few minutes. Milky and Claribel are the best and super friendly. The best beauty salon in GA and will definetly recommend it to everyone.

I’m new in Marietta and was looking for a new hairstylist. Also I could say was OMG!!! About this place. $65 for a wash and set! I paid $20 just because my hair is natural $10 more because I opt not to put rollers and $35 for the actual wash! I never been so disappointed. The owner Milky started screaming at my when I asked about the change because it started on her board it was just $35. Very rude and unprofessional. Lastly the environment is very poorly maintained. The place smells moldy. Overall, I made a big mistake not trusting the other reviews I read about this place. And if you wonder how does my hair looked like after 30mns check out my hair picture. This was my second time having my hair done by Milky . My first time was in 2015 , I was visiting Atlanta just as I had visit this last time. She did such a wonderful job both times! I love her. Thank you Milky , I hope to see you again
