Quality Jewish style delicatessen in Brooklyn that is not too far from the Kings Plaza Mall. Brisket and pastrami on rye bread were delicious. Motzo ball soup and knish were delicious as well. The mustard, sour pickles, and coleslaw they serve are superb quality and delicious too. Try the Dr. Browns beverages with the meal. They compliment the meal. Pleasant staff.
This is my mother and I little getaway. We love it here! The Pastrami on Rye and fries is what we get and we are never disappointed in the food. Frankie is AMAZING! We always purchase some Jelly Rings on our way out. Hands down one of the best places to get a Pastrami sandwich from in NYC. I highly recommend.Food: 5/5
I have been coming to the Mill Basin Deli since I was a little girl. To this day, I have never had a better knish or matzoh ball soup. The pastrami is awesome too, and you simply cannot get enough of the pickles and cole slaw! I recommend coming in person and dining in so you can observe the amazing collection of folk art and the cute, warm, homey atmosphere of the deli itself!
Overstuffed sandwiches aren't so Overstuffed anymore but the price definitely increased. This deli is one of my favorites but getting mighty expensive, it's a treat these days to eat there. Love the pickles and service.Food: 4/5
We used to come here with friends at least twice a month. For the price the sandwiches has gotten smaller almost 30% smaller. For practically the same price I'd rather go to Katz. We don't come here anymore. If you don't want to go out of the way to Katz then go to any half decent Deli sandwich place... It'll do. This place had great service and we tipped a lot too. The sandwich size was never a large and as good as Katz but nevertheless it used to still be a decent size. The thought of coming here is never a consideration anymore.
Solid pastrami in my opinion although my friend said that Katz is better. It’s a no frills place, hot dogs are amazing also. Prices can be better but I guess that’s everywhere.
The food was average at best, but the service was good at lunchtime. The size of the portions are very unfair considering the the prices they charge. I know there is inflation out there, but at least give us a somewhat fair bang for our buck. The turkey sandwich was small and on the dried out side at the price of $19.95, and the potato latkes were extremely dry also, and the size of a hockey puck. A very small amount of apple sauce was served in a small plastic dish to go along with the latkes. I also requested a glass of water and it was served in a very tiny plastic cup, gargle type cupusually found in a dentist office somewhere; I found that to be very weird and kind of strange when compared to most restaurants I frequent here in NYC. They also use only all paper plates and take out size, usually used exclusively for of a take out orders. serving with all plastic utensils also is somewhat rather classless and tacky, and an obvious cost cutting measure. They have to do better than that. I travelled a good distance to give this establishment a try despite the outdated reviews as well as the lack of these types of actual kosher restaurants in the NY Tri - State area these days. The place is immensely overrated, but I still thought is was fair to give it a try initially; well was I ever wrong. I just never felt very uncomfortable here until I departed. I'm not likely to return again and nor would ever recommend..'Fuhgeddaboutit' Parking: Parking is not easy in that area.
Excellent pastrami sandwiches but you're going to pay for it in this neighborhood staple. A simple sandwich and soda will cost you $25.00. Ouch!
#WFHLunch.#PastramiBurger#GradeA#OG#JewishDeli#MillBasinDeli. The best quality pastrami burger at a fair price! The bun was amazingly fresh. Great to see customers and staff members safely social distancing. I recommend this place for your next #takeout Pastrami fix! And don't forget to ask for the cherry peppers on the side. Spicy and delicious....Great combo...Ill definitely be back for that pastrimi burger w/cherry peppers on the side. #BestDeliEver
This place is Kosher. We went there for hot dogs and fries. They have really good hot dogs. This place is pretty expensive but worth it. The Dogs and Fries were amazing.
