Update: went back in and there's no noticeable difference. The shower is still lukewarm. Really disappointed as I signed up for a year membership basically just for the showers. The staff was friendly and the facilities are nice but the whole experience is ruined by barely lukewarm showers. I was told they'd get them fixed but hasn't happened and it's not a great experience in the winter.
This place is great if you want to feed your physical body and mental cranial. Has a decent work out and basketball gym facility, and a modest library. Has a couple dozen computers to get your web on and a cafe to feed your belly. Nice clean and quiet place to do all sorts of things.
There are so many senior parking places, but very few handicapped. I wish that they would make more of them for either handicapped or senior citizennot one or the other . I am not a senior citizen, but am currently unable to walk without crutches or a scooter. There were open senior citizen spots, but no open handicapped spots. So I had to struggle with parking much further away. Disappointing. I love that so many people use this community center. I just wish they would adapt their parking to be more community friendly.
Great little rec center in the middle of Millcreek. They pack a lot of goodness in this building. They don't have a pool, but they have an indoor track! Great when it's snowing outside. And, they have pickle ball nets... Who doesn't love pickle ball??? There is a small but friendly and helpful staff here. To the reviewer who complains that they don't have bilingual employees here: don't be ridiculous. It's a small rec center in Utah, not the UN. They could increase costs by getting bilingual staff to serve a very small need OR... You could use Google Translate! Isn't technology wonderful???
I use the small workout room on the second floir. It's air conditioned, so comfortable any season. The equipment is easy to use and a staff member is always on hand if you need help or have quesfloor. Great place!
Signed up my 12 year old for youth classes. I love the location for tennis at Olympus Park, trainer is kind and the small group size. The trainers are young and seem to be very lax about the efforts the kids put in. However, not much time is spent on technique and a lot of time gathering balls. Really hoped for more training instead of a play group.
In the pre-covid era, it was an excellent place to drop by for a coffee or a good lunch. Now I am still enjoying their walking track and their weight room. Very clean and very friendly staff.
Basic rec center, doesn't have a lot of amenities like a pool or hot tubs. But it's a pretty small center so they don't have room for that stuff. They do have: indoor track, machines, basketball court.
Very clean and modern. Nice facilities. Fireplace in library is cozy. Track overhead from the basketball court is great too
Their Evergreen restaurant has gooood food. The center facilities & staff of the activites are helpful, knowledgable & friendly. This is a good community center to gather at.
