Hotel is good. Placed at a great location. We got a room with good views. Food is nice too. Friendly and very helpful staff (esp doormen and room service). They keep good and useful magazines in the room.
But I felt utilities available inside the room could've been better. If i were to nit-pick - there were no cutlery, no microwave in the room, space available in the fridge for personal use is too less & so on. We had taken the king suite. Maybe amenities are better for other better suites.

This hotel is beautiful. It sits right across the street from the World Trade Center Memorial site and the view at night is Amazing. The staff were super friendly and the door men were great at hailing me a cab to the places I wanted to go. This hotel is in the heart in Manhattan so walking to the sites is easy. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be going back very soon.

Nice view from above 40th floor where we stayed. Of course we paid for the view.
Faulty room door was a pain. Card keys could not open despite reset or changing to new cards. The worst experience happened before check out. Wasted time going to front desk several times. Front desk even accused us of having kept the card key with mobile when we kept them separately in pouches away from metals. Even new keys issued could not be used when we travelled via elevator immediately to get to the room. Security staff also could not help, tried housekeeper's several keys and kicked the door before it opened. We left immediately upon grabbing our luggage.
The check in experience was not good too. Went early upon arrival from an early flight. Was told may be able to check in at 1pm. After visiting nearby places of interest, told that need another hour. Continued waiting at lobby as told that the view from that room is worth waiting for. By 2pm, we were told need to wait and guaranteed check in time is 3pm. Continued to wait at lobby. Not ready even at 3pm and "Will call you when ready". Finally got the call at 3.33pm and when asked why took so long after guaranteed check in time, the front desk female staff with long black straight hair (not Chinese) said without apologies that it's only a few minutes late.
Front desk had taken information at 9am and was aware that the guest had arrived and had requested early check in. Shouldn't resources be allocated to clean up the particular room first? Does it take that many hours to clean even with the guest eventually waiting at the lobby for 2.5 hours? Bad customer service!!!

Oh my goodness... this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The view from my room was so breathtaking that I probably snapped a dozen pictures, day and night. And for such a big city, it’s so quiet here at night!! Everything about this hotel is simply gorgeous. The beds are so comfortable, the pillows are puffy, the showers have great pressure, the staff is marvellous. I was beyond thrilled when they let me check in a little early. Definitely stay here if you’re looking for a place to rest your head while in New York.

Great location when you are in lower Manhattan. Right next to Freedom Tower, several new shopping areas and public transportation to get you anywhere you need to go.
The staff is VERY attentive and VERY friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable.
Will always try to stay here when in Manhattan.
