Great place to study especially the 4th floor the quiet study floor where there are plenty tables, and outlets for your laptop. And the library staff are very helpful if you need help finding the different resources they offer.
Very nice library.
Terrible hours for a university who continually claims they support their students. Room bookings are limited to 2 hours, making it essentially impossible for any productive collaborative work which, unsurprisingly, is also something the university says they promote. And just a heads up, the lack of windows outside the ~30-student-capacity renovated study spaces is depressing. As a student from another university who had 24 hours, unlimited room bookings, and wonderfully renovated spaces in the plenty, I am so awfully disappointed.
Wonderfull place to study, especially the 4th floorsilent floor The only down side is that it is not open 24hrs.
This is a neat library that has gone through a lot of transition over the last decade as the University migrates almost all of the actual paper texts to a giant warehouse style room that is climate controlled and serviced by a robot. The idea is that students can request books that are tightly packed away while the rest of the library, instead of being used for shelf space, can be group study rooms and open areas for computer labs and other research. The bottom floor has a large music archive and the first floor above it has a coffee shop. Commonly there is a well done display on the top floor that Historians and librarians put together educating library patrons on something interesting. The third-floor recently got a large collection of fossils and minerals from the science building as a new location for the geology Museum.
Great place to do school work. I love going there. I really don't like how it closes so early on Friday and Saturday. It's a library at a University not a regular public library. It should be open long past 6. People need to study on the weekends too!
if i can give this a 0 star i will do it. the library was a place for study but they was allow a lot of people in the same room and make so noise on the second floor. when i ask attendant over the they said they can't do anything. what a joke. they was make it so noise i can't focus on my work. what a bad experience.
It is a really nice place to study. Sometimes the hours are a little inconvenient but not a big deal when there's other places on campus to go. The library is open to the public as a sign says. My only complaint is that before even noon the trashes always end up stuffed full and I've never seen it emptied.
A modern library with glass and whiteboards as aids for math and science learning. Wonderful smiling staff and librarians who are willing to assist with book searches and research. Extendable electrical outlets for thousands of students with laptops and wifi printing. A floor with all levels of loudness first to third and fourth floor silent floor. Come by on Thursdays and ask for a tour of the Robot....lots and lots of books for all genres.
It has a good collection of books, we can also request books from other libraries in Missouri. 4th floor is complete silent floor and awesome place to study.
