What happens when a child-less, aunt-to-be walks into a kid’s store? Amazing things thanks to the help of Mini Jake!!! I walked it with zero idea what to get for a newborn baby and came out with a perfectly curated gift, wrapped to perfection. THANK YOU!!!!

Adorable place with everything you need for your baby..with nice costumer service and very quick I bought a stroller there for my baby..I was out from the store in 2 minutes literally!! You won't regret buying there.

We bought $1,000 worth of BabyZen stroller and accessories but they were totally useless helping us connect with the company to execute the warranty. Same thing happened to friends ours with Mini Jake as well.

Best baby store around! We were looking for a stroller for a while, they were extremely patient, professional and helpful. Local delivery was free, prices are great and they have a huge selection of pretty much everything. We'll be back for sure.

Really wonderful experience! Dave the owner was incredibly helpful. He gave me great stroller and car seat advice and did not try to upsell me at all. It’s so rare to have a shopping experience like this these days! So grateful that stores like this still exist! Support small businesses and shop here!!

Just visited Mini Jake for the first time and had a wonderful experience. Blown away by how many baby-essentials they have in a charming neighborhood store. We went in for a big purchase stroller and Dave took amazing care of us. He walked us through a lot of different models/features/options. As a first time mom, the investment in a stroller has been one of the more important and confusing! decisions we’ve had to make. We were able to feel confident about our decisions, and *BONUS, Mini Jake even had my desired color which was sold out everywhere else! The shop is super cute and comfy, well stocked and well organized. I was even able to do a quick breast feed on one of their dreamy gliders Highly recommend Mini Jake for any baby needs or gifts. And to Dave and Mini Jake: Thanks for being such a resource for the neighborhood!!

Wonderful store. They have anything you need. The employees are all so helpful. Giving 4/5 stars because of the hours. I am a full time working mom, I would love to come in more often for random thhings I need with a toddler/baby but unable to because by the time I am home they are closed and weekends get so busy for us. I end up having to order online for whatever I need instead. Wish they were open until 6pm atleast x

Mini Jake is the greatest children’s store in NYC!!! They have an eclectic and eccentric variety of toys, books, clothes, books, furniture, strollers, car seats... absolutely everything. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful, especially Bernadette. She never fails to make a great recommendation by listening to what I want and need and always comes through, whether it’s for a new stroller or just a quick birthday party gift. I live in a walk up with two toddlers so I had very specific stroller needs, she seems to know the ins and outs of every item in that store and was so patient and kind when helping me find what I needed. They also do gift wrapping which is super convenient and always cute. Sometimes when we’re strolling by we just stop to say hey to the staff and hang out, that’s how comfortable it is in there. If you stop by on certain days you can also see or join a music class which always seems fun and full! Definitely a customer for life

Terrible customer service experience. We were there with our son after we promised him we will go to minijake all week so he can choose a present for his birthday. Once we entered they told us he needs to be in his stroller because he is not 3 years old, which is super random as he was not misbehaving just wanted to walk around and choose a present. They even did it let us pick him up. Only be in the stroller. This made him upset and we had to leave the store. We had our registry for him with the store even though it is our over priced and not worth it but we wanted to support a local business and we’re planning to do the same for our expected baby girl. Thanks Very disappointing experience you would think that a toy store for children would be a little more understanding and have a welcoming approach towards children. Never ever going back! Overpriced store with bad attitude!
