I went here last Thursday and saw Nathalia. My nail appointment wasn’t finished by the end of my time slot and I had to come back later in the day to get my nails finished. I was getting my nails done for my engagement. One fell off within 4 days. Two more fell off the next day. Lint accumulated on the excess glue beneath the nail extensions. My first appointment was cancelled less than 4 hours before the scheduled time. Keep in mind that MiniLuxe actually charges customers for cancelling less than 4 hours prior to the appointment! I got no compensation for my inconvenience.. Received a really beautiful gel manicure last week and was beyond happy with my experience with the salon. Less than a week later, one nail has chipped. I called yesterday and left a message asking for an appointment to fix the nail before an important interview this week. No one got back to me, so I called again today and left another message. God forbid a real person answer the phone… They finally called me back this afternoon and could only offer me one single time slot which is not available to me since I have work. I paid $55 plus a tip for this manicure so I would feel confident at my interview and they can’t fix it before then because they don’t have time to repaint one single nail. My daughter and I had gel x. and pedicures. The young woman who took care of me was very professional and very good. Her name is Natalia. The young man who took care of my 14yr old daughter was also very very professional and respectful of her. Quite often in nail salons they are not respectful of this age group. It really meant a lot for him to ask my daughter how she was liking his work, if it was what she wanted. Very very respectful.Services: Pedicure

Eric provided exceptional service for both my manicure and pedicure—very professional, skilled, and a pleasure to chat with during my appointment. Highly recommend MiniLuxe as a whole and Eric specifically. Had two others with me as well who were also highly satisfied and impressed with the overall experience and cleanliness.Services: Callus removal

I got an anti-aging mani which felt great on my skin and the color was gorgeous but it’s been 3 hrs and my polish is already undergoing shrinkage. For the price, I expected better.Service: Manicure

I went to miniluxe on Sunday and the following Monday two of my toes had already chipped. I called the location to let them know so maybe they could reconcile and fix them for me. I called three times on Tuesday and left 2 voicemails for a call back, with no answer or response. Considering I paid 80 dollars plus a tip for my pedicure I think a call back is not much to ask for. This was my first time at this location and I was looking for a new regular nail and wax salon. I will not be returning to this location after the poor customer service. I also booked a wax appointment for that Thursday that I cancelled because I could not simply receive a call back about my damaged toes after 1 day of being painted. I just got a signature manicure and pedicure here. My designer was very attentive and you could see she was being careful. None of my nails are painted through. They all look like I got them done a week ago. I stayed over one hour drying my toe nails and the coat was so thick it still was not dried through. Needless to say, I got home and they were ruined. My nails felt pretty dry. I got home and just by doing random simple things like opening a drawer I have huge dents on my nails. This was most certainly not worth 70 dollars and I'm for sure not going back.

I got home an noticed that my gel nails were bumpy and not level and smooth. My toes hadn’t gotten enough time under the UV light, which lead to the fuzz from my socks to stick on them. I paid a lux price for below subpar service. My nails aren’t even filed evenly and consistently. Each nail is a different shape.

This was my first visit to miniluxe and unfortunately I was not impressed. I got a pedicure later in the evening and it was obvious that the lady who did my nails wanted to get home. While I think that's understandable, I had to ask for adjustments several times, she partly painted my skin and the color wasn't very even on my nails. I also find it unprofessional she started cleaning the space 20 minutes before they close and not checked in again after sending me to dry the nails. What I do have to mention as positive about Miniluxe is their focus on hygiene and the modern, chic vibe inside. The lady at the front desk apologized and gave me names of other employees she'd recommend. I might give it another try, though it's disappointing that your experience seems to depend so much on the person you get.
