Minneapolis Lock & Key

Have used these pros for years but have not given a review. Always tell me the straight story about my needs and their capabilities. Give me good advice as to how to get them the info/lock set so they can get my needs met.

They refused to cut a copy of my key, they didn't have a blank so I brought my own and they said no. I have had problems with them in the past so even though they are very close to me I will never return. There is no point to this place. They want to sell you locks, everything even if they don't have it. It's very difficult to trust people who tell you one thing over the phone then it's a different story in person. How about checking what I have instead of just refusing? Key cutting is the primary function of the locksmith and you don't want to do it? What is the point of you?

All I had to do was describe the lock I needed and the very same model was produced. The salesman answered all my questions which made the installation a breeze

Walked in for cabinet locks the younger southern guy was very knowledgeable And friendly and had us in and out ...there was another customer who was getting into it with older man made it tense but the first guy was able to smooth things over I would come again very old shop would be 5 stars of not for other customers behavior

I needed replacement keys for a MasterLock padlock. Masterlock, for the record, makes this task and process horrible. Don't buy MasterLock. But Mpls Lock & Key was able to get me sorted, we're super knowledgeable, cut me 4 different types of keys car doors, 2 padlocks, and a basic house key in under 20 minutes, and got me out the door for under $30. I couldn't recommend this place enough after my experience. Great folks.

My 5 year old son wants to be a locksmith. I took my son into their shop and with welcoming arms Nathan , Dana and other staff invited us in and gave us a tour. These guys are a great group of locksmith. AAAA+++

Great staff, fast and excellent job.
