Excellent Indian food experience in Las Vegas. Lunch buffet had good choices of meat, and veg choices. Overall great food and can't be beat for the reasonable buffet prices. They even had a one-of-a-kind serving robot that would take the bread to the tables. Pretty cool to watch it in action. Just minutes off the vegas strip. Parking can be a challenge in the shopping area. They also have a hall of fame wall for the "Inferno challenge" winners, and I will be back for that :
Delicious Indian food off the Strip that is really worth the trip. Like so many stories about finding “this great place off the Strip,” one must be cautious but adventurous. This desert gem hides in plain sight in a small strip mall. The lunch buffet is clean and delicious. The fresh naan bread is a real crowd pleaser. The goat curry is also delicious.
I don’t even know where to start with this restaurant. My family and I visit Indian restaurants anytime and anywhere we travel. When in Vegas we usually dine at Tamba, however, that was temporarily closed so we tried Mint after reviewing some ratings online…. but damn were we fooled. The first issue- staff was RUDE! In particular there was a lady with tattoos on her arm that claimed to be the “manager”. She was extremely disrespectful to my family when we asked her about the delay in our order. She was loud, used an ugly tone, and carried an attitude- we were all shocked. We waited 20-30 minutes for our entrees. When I called they told me they could accommodate our party of 20 people but that clearly wasn’t the case. Next, their AC was not working. The room temp was 85 and we asked multiple times if the AC was broken as we had a pregnant member with us who was very uncomfortable. Outside temp- 105 Third, a long thick piece of hair in our goat curry. It was disgusting. You can refer to the picture. We waited 20-30 mins for dinner just to find hair in it. The actual manager who was a nice understanding guy took our order back and didn’t charge us for the goat curry. Lastly, when dining they brought out jugs of water which I believe is free as in any other restaurant and as we were walking out, that same lady with the tattoo tried charging us first $1 and then $3 when my family members asked her for a cup of water. My family told her on the way out she cannot be disrespectful towards her customers and her response “you are not welcome in our restaurant again”. Jokes on her- we will never return and hope others find this review helpful and don’t visit for such a negative experience. Brutal!! We wanted to leave after our appetizers but felt bad as we had already placed orders. Do not visit here.
The Indian lunch buffet I've been looking for! Glad My wife and I found this place! It's about 1.4 miles east of the Strip, on Flamingo. Easy Uber, or catch the 202 RTC bus from the Strip. The food is fresh and delicious, with a good variety of dishes to choose from. Vegas is not the cheap destination for dining anymore. But this lunch buffet 11a-2:30p, is a bargain at $16. Drinks are extra I got the mango lassi, but unlimited garlic naan bread is free. I had three full plates, mango lassi, plus a couple baskets of bread. I probably ate way too much, but the food was so good. Check my pics to see all the items offered. The restaurant was clean and looked modern. The floor was clean, buffet area well stocked and clean. Stephanie, the server, was friendly. I asked her about a sign on the wall that read "Inferno Wall of Flame". She said they serve a super duper hot 16oz curry dish under $20, that has thirteen different ground spices and chillis. If you can finish it all by yourself, you get your picture framed on the wall, and a $50 gift certificate. She said nobody in that location has successfully done the challenge in over three years! I'll definitely come back, but I'll stick with the buffet, lol.
The food was not bad at all. The service is really bad. There are so many tables available but the hosts made us wait good 10 to 15mins. Staffs were also rude also.Food: 3/5
Loved the lunch buffet! Great variety and delish gulab jamun, aloo gobi , matar paneer and garlic naan served by Robot friend - forgot to take pic but here is a pic of her resting between serving naans. Naan was the right amount of crisp with fluffiness not unnecessarily thick and hard to chew. Only reasons I didn’t give 5 stars is - too much salt in sambhar and French fries not that I went to indian buffet for that seemed to be old. Would totally visit again regardless! Total Value for $$
Love this place! If you are going for dinner you may want to make a reservation. It is authentic, delicious has tons of great options. The service was great even though only one person was working the floor last night. The kitchen got the food out quickly. When I used to live in Vegas I ate here once a week. I am just visiting so had to go back. I had the aloo gobi and garlic naan bread last night, which were great, however I have had all of their vegetarian dishes and they were all great!
Great food and bar. We went for dinner and for lunch buffet the next day. The lunch buffet had a wide range of curries to choose from. Chicken and vegetarian both had plenty of options. In dessert they served Gulab Jamun and Mango custard. The Gulab Jamun was fresh but was not soaked in the syrup well resulting in them tasting like rubber. The Mango custard was awesome. The service for bread during peak hours was slow and the restaurant prioritizes newly arrived guests over people who are already eating. We had to wait for 10-15 mins for extra naan and eventually we gave up when the naan was not served. Overall a good place for Indian food but service could be better.
Amazing quality food- buffet. First Indian restaurant where food has proper spice and salt levels and great service too. Even good vegetarian options along with non-veg and reasonable price. There is robot too which brings water and naan. Overall, very satisfied :
Overall I had a good experience. Food was delicious, staff was friendly. The only downsides on my end, it took almost an hour to get my food, the restaurant wasn’t that busy, but I also know restaurants are understaffed and I was in no real rush, so it wasn’t the biggest deal in the world. I didn’t like that my Mango lassi came in a to go cup, like it had been prepared before I even ordered it. It was good, just didn’t enjoy how it came out. Overall it was good. I would visit again.
