Huge thank you to everyone at Misfits Cick Kustoms for their recent help with my 2002 Chevy Silverado! Conrad at Misfits Cick Kustoms, courteous, thorough and above all else they are transparent! If you’re needing some work done to your vehicle - they will take the time to diagnose it, get it done correctly and keep you informed throughout the process. They are quick to source parts and get the work completed on time if not early. Good work done by good people. I am only recommending this shop moving forward, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s reading this review. Cheers to the guys specially to Conrad at Misfits and thank you again for your honest and hard work!Services: Oil change
My mom drove all the way from Reno to have the experts at Misfits work on her p30 RV conversion. These guys are super nice and know these vehicles better than anyone! It was worth the trip since she relies on her truck to be dependable. We highly recommend Misfits and the crew! Thank you Conrad, Anthony, Jr. and Steve!
The owner of Misfits Cick Kustoms is very charismatic, seems so nice, but far from it. Bought a van and requested certain work to be done, and every item was a total disaster. Poor paint job, runs, dirt, shading, overspray from the outside into the cab, airbag system not working, engine seized while running in driveway while paying transport, no coolant, no drivers seat, brakes paid to be done in failed condition, fill tube for gas was a kinked radiator hose, transmission paid to be added was not hooked up, an axle rubber bumper removed to make the van look level, rear wheels put on with lug nuts reversed. After trusting the owner and receiving what I did, I searched out other customers from telephone numbers and names on the vans pictured and found at least 12 other dissatisfied customers as well. It was no consolation however. The owner has relatives and friends write reviews. Never depend on reviews, I was duped. The vans pictured on his and other sites look very nice but are mechanical disasters. As one of his customers stated, “ he puts lipstick on pigs” I had to put one star, but did not want to even do that. He has other businesses that are apparently distractions and has no qualified help. He comes off cheaper but you pay a high price after the fact.Services: Body & Trim
Shipped my van to Conrad Morales Martinez at his shop Misfits Cick Kustoms in Phoenix, AZ for restoration. He worked intermittently on it for three months then communication and progress halted. He always had what I thought were plausible excuses for the delays, missed deadlines and infrequent communication. I mean we're dealing with 70-year-old vehicles in an industry that I knew would be difficult, so I felt pretty understanding, at first. About five months into the build I was contacted by several past customers that saw my vehicle on his social posts inquiring how my build was going. Their stories of missed deadlines, receiving vehicles that wouldn't start, brakes that didn't work, broken gauges, inferior parts, etc. were alarming. We realized we were dealing with a fraud. I started reaching out to Conrad again with limited to no response until I wrote to say I was coming out to get my van. He texted only to say I couldn't get it for a month. No reason why. And no response on its location or condition. I had to hire a private investigator to locate and retrieve my van, but not before Conrad presented the PI with a fraudulent title using my VIN in an attempt to claim ownership. I also found out I was not the first customer that had to take this route to get their vehicle. My once beautiful working classic van that was delivered to Conrad came back to me as a shell with rusted out used parts he poorly installed, a Chevy engine full of rust that doesn't run, no carburetor, brakes that don't work even though I sent all the brake parts to him from a supplier, a rusted out gas tank he knowingly installed, windows that were not reinstalled or sent with the truck, doors that now don't shut or lock, a paint job that is peeling to reveal rust that wasn't treated...the list goes on and on. It now sits in a yard unable to run, needing thousands of dollars to fix his work in addition to what he didn't complete. The above is a condensed version of what happened. There is SO much more I could write. If you are contemplating buying a vehicle or hiring this guy to restore your vehicle I would emphatically say look elsewhere!! Don't go off the pictures he posts on social media or his website. His pictures look amazing on the surface but mechanically are disasters. If you do decide to gamble with this guy I would highly recommend you don't pay him any money in advance outside of a standard deposit, and once you receive notification that the build is complete take a mechanic that has no affiliation to Conrad or Misfits Cick Kustoms with you to inspect the vehicle at his shop before you pay him in full and drive it off the lot. Otherwise you'll end up like me and the other customers that have had our dreams and businesses severely impacted by this guy.
My experience with Conrads shop was just perfect. He's very professional and has great suggestions. Our truck turned out amazing. Thank you for all you did on our truck . super happy
