Overall, we had a great experience with Robert and his Mission Exteriors team. We had our entire front door and frame removed and new frame, door, and transom installed. The work turned out top notch even though there were a few setbacks in the ordering timeline. We absolutely recommend Mission Exteriors to others because at the end of the day, the results speak for themselves. There were a few issues along the way, but Robert did his best to minimize their impact on the overall project. Initially, the few door designs we wanted turned out to not be available from the manufacturer, so out of his control. Then the door that was available took longer than expected to construct and deliver. This unfortunately got in the way of another project we were doing with the front of the house. However, Robert did understand this, and took on some additional finish work at no cost, in order to make up for the delay and disruption. Finally, the actual installation and painting of the door, storm door, and trim also took longer than expected, which meant my wife or I needed to be home more days than originally anticipated. Another positive experience was the “sales” process. Robert came by to take a look at the old door and hear what we were looking for, had some options for us to see and really made the entire thing easy. No hard sale, just a quick turnaround with the quote. At the end of the day, I am rating Mission Exteriors a 4.5 of 5 because their work and finished product were top notch, but the timeline and fulfillment could have been better. I understand that ordering and installation can vary by project, so I don’t hold them at fault for many of the delays.

Robert and Roxie were friendly, professional, and never tired of my many questions about window replacement or if they did they never let on. Of particular note with this company is they do not rely on high pressure kitchen table sales pitches like many other companies. You will not find them insisting you sign on the dotted line on their first visit. And ladies, of particular note, this company did not insist my husband be present for our conversations about money. YES, so many local companies STILL do this but not Mission Exteriors Prices provided were comprehensive and competitive. While ultimately window replacement on the scale we were considering, by a high quality design and build firm such as this, was not in our budget, we felt fairly treated by the knowledgeable sales team at Mission Exteriors throughout the exploration process.

Mission Exteriors installed 21 Andersen Woodwright replacement windows in our house in Bethesda, as well as one vinyl sliding window in a basement window well, and did an excellent job. Robert the owner explained our choices, patiently answered all our questions, and remained engaged throughout the entire project. There was no annoying upsell, just some very thoughtful and objective suggestions on what options might work best, given the various sizes and locations of the existing windows. Daniel and his installation crew worked carefully and efficiently and ran an extremely clean and well-organized worksite. The job was finished on time, and clean-up was very thorough. We were very happy with the high quality of workmanship, as well as their solution to the problematical below-ground basement window that we thought would be too difficult to replace. We highly recommend Mission Exteriors, especially for the strong sense of craftsmanship that they bring to their work.

We are extremely pleased with our new doors. Daniel's crew worked tirelessly to make them beautiful for us. Two of our Dane's have walked straight into the glass!!!
