We were searching for a university-affiliated business incubator that would provide us access to approved vivarium facilities for both small and large animal research.  MIC was one of only two business incubators that could make this commitment to us.  Our ability to perform animal research, combined with access to university core laboratories and collaborations, greatly contributed to our success in competing for numerous NIH SBIR grants and attracting private investment groups.

The MIC has been such a supportive environment for me to learn about start-up culture and meet some really wonderful people. As someone who is totally new to the entrepreneur mindset, it's been a really great experience working for a business here.

The Incubator has served as a supportive environment over the last few years as I have grown my business. They invariably know the "answers" or they know where to look!As a new comer to Columbia, I could not think of a better location to base my company.

Great state of the art science and technology hub for entrepreneurs. Knowledgeable mentors including the VMS mentoring service. If you're a startup, you should check out the talented people and resources at this space.
