Story

Amma Therapy is a bodywork modality grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I will do a tongue and pulse diagnosis at the beginning of each session, talk with you about your health concerns, wellness goals and create a TCM diagnosis and wellness plan based on what we discover. I typically treat for 75 minutes massaging along the TCM channels which cover head to toe, front and back of the body. I will focus more on areas of stagnation, pain and disharmony and apply acupressure points with the sensitivity of the hands instead of using needles like an acupuncturist would. People find the treatments to be both relaxing and energizing, like an energetic re-set for the body-mind. Amma Therapy treatments are energetically transforming while getting in to the deep muscle tissue to enliven areas of stagnation and pain. You will love it!
