As others have said, this company has really gone downhill in terms of newspaper delivery. I've had to call over a dozen times in the three months since I started a new subscription. When I called today at 9:30, the receptionist looked at my record and said "Oh my, that's a lot of problems." I've spoken to the manager multiple times but the problems persist. I will call the newspaper and see if they can switch distributors. So many people today don't get actual newspapers delivered, so you would think Mitchell's would try really hard to keep their remaining customers happy. But you would be wrong. Enough already.
While customer service was polite, their newspaper delivery service is very unresponsive. Even after repeated complaints they will not put a cover on the newspaper, so every second day the paper is a mess and I cannot read iit : Get a clue how difficult is it to put a cover on? Are u so lazy?
Mitchell'sNY went above and beyond to ensure our custom ice order was handled with extreme care and urgency travelling from NY to our wedding venue in South Jersey. Everything from the booking process to the hourly updates from our coordinator/driver was seamless. Our ice arrived fully frozen in one of their freezer trucks, on time and was handled with the utmost care. Trust Mitchell'sNY for your most high end important deliveries and everything in between. Highly recommended.

Third Day this week I haven't received a newspaper. I called customer service earlier this week to explain my frustration and when I asked for someone to send a copy I was hung up on. Typical to not receive a paper at least 1-2 days a week. Every time I call for a non-delivery I never get an apology. This company has zero accountability to their customers. Everyone else in my building has cancelled their subscriptions because they gave up on complaining. Really unfortunate to have a company provide such poor service.
Mitchell's is ALWAYS my go to Logistics support for my offices moving and storage transporting needs. No matter how small or big the job need is they are consistently resourceful, informative, and efficient! Top of the line and old fashioned customer service at its best. The delivery staff are diligent, hard working, and always find a way to work their magic with my arduous needs with fixtures and heavy lifting! Undoubtedly, the best NYC has to offer!
