This is such s cute little place in China Town! It’s definitely a Instagram-worthy spot. Their furniture and the interior decor is just very cute and very well done. My friend and I came here for a late night snack and we were pleasantly surprised by the prettiness of the place. We didn’t expect much going in but once we got there we saw how cute it was! There isn’t a lot of seating, just a few tables which was okay for us because we came near closing time. We got the matcha egg puff ice cream cone to share with sea salt cream foam on top extra $0.75 which was delicious! Then I got the Uji Matcha for myself - I love Matcha so this was a delicious drink for me yummy I will definitely be coming back here again with my friends for some more Matcha drink and maybe to even try their milk teas!
A photogenic location. While it's apparent that Miucha caters to the instagramming audience, it is worth a visit to enjoy the regular yet tasty drinks that they offer. These are no different than other East Asian brands operating in China Town and around Philly, the customer service is good, the ambience is pleasant and the drinks are nice if not perfect. Overall, it serves exactly the purpose it's here for - fashionable and tasty. The only thing that could keep you from visiting is the slightly expensive menu and a slightly distant location from the heart of China town, both of which are non-existent if you're actually planning to visit and not simply walking around for options.
My favorite tea place! We stumbled on this place the week they opened when we were going across the street for ice cream. We went in to see what they were about and haven't been anywhere else for tea since! The girls are super sweet and very helpful. The tea is freshly brewed and excellent, they even customize everything exactly the way you want it. They have unique teas, like the marshmallow milk tea, that are a wonderful change and personally it's my favorite it's not overly sweet like you would expect. They are also one of the few places that actually care if you are happy with what you ordered and will fix it to your liking. This is a must stop for me every time I'm in Chinatown. The new Thai tea is excellent! I don't even normally like Boba, but theirs is special! And the Thai tea isn't that scary orange color! It's fresh!
It’s good place to spend some quiet time. Been twice, was not crowded at all. They have some games to play with. What do you meme and spelling game. To be honest the chair is very stiff and hard. I sat here for +1 hour and my back started having pain.
Update 7 months later - I am upgrading this review from 1 to 5 as it appears that the service here has improved a lot since I last visited. I had the Uji Matcha with red beans and it was delicious and I did not have to wait at all.
Exceptional beverages; even better service. Went here with my brother after trying to find a store to buy toilet paper. Unfortunately, all the grocery stores were closed so my brother asked the 2 girls who worked there where we could buy some in the area. They looked puzzled until he explained, so they then asked how much we needed. They were going to give us TP with our Marshmallow Milk tea and Taro Slush!!! So sweet the drinks and the employees. UPDATE... MIUCHA - We found a 24 hour Rite Aide and scored a 4 pack.
WOW!!! I'm not usually the types who writes a review but my It would be great injustice if I didn't recommend you guys here.. Their Milk Foam is something I haven't tasted at any other tea store on the east coast. My personal favorite is the Rose Oolong with reg sugar and Taro Foam... Mind = Blown.
Philly is literally brimming with milk / bubble tea shops, but Miucha punches above the belt. A clean store with a menu packed with tasty tea-based drinks topped with matcha and sea salt flavored milk foam? I ordered the Sakura Oolong Tea with sea salt milk foam sans boba; tasted incredible. The only detraction is the service time, the drinks are hand crafted and take much longer than your standard shop. But if you spare the time, it's worth the wait.
Extremely cute place! It's become my favorite place to spend my casual afternoon and hang out with friends since the first visit. Service is good. Design is cute. Decoration is beautiful! Tea is fresh brewed. Everything is just right! Recommended highly to everyone who wants to spend their nights or weekends.
I got a chance to try the Matcha shake with the red beans in it. It is a really cool atmosphere, they have board games so people can hang out and play they do not rush people out. The shake was a really good value at the price we payed. I highly recommend people go in and try it out. They are linked to Franklin fountain one way or another. They have a bunch of vanity mirrors with lots of lights to help create a beautiful photo.
