mmm...enfes

Mmm...Enfes was a great addition to the midtown lunch scene, plus they open early and stay open pretty late for the neighborhood. The food is not what I was used to with Turkish food - not kebabs or anything like that, instead the cases are filled with gozleme filled phylo dough wonders and boureks. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and the owner is incredibly friendly - if you go in once or twice, she'll remember you forever!

Finding a place like this - is What New York Is All About! Hard work and Long hours bring GREAT street food and pastries to a small location don't let looks fool you. PLUS Turkish coffee that will hold your spoon upright!
