This is a place you’ll fall in love with. It’s family owned and operated, a restaurant I’d frequent regularly if we lived in Anchorage. Our meal was awesome and freshly made. We loved everything about our sandwiches, pastrami and turkey on rye and the egg salad. This might be our new favorite lunch spot in Anchorage. Can’t wait to come back.
The best Rueben & pastrami sandwiches in town! They are so friendly and the place is extremely clean. Highly recommend
One sandwich was good the other was not to order. The sandwiches were supposed to come with pickles, but attention to detail failed the servers again. When a customer orders no mustard and there is a huge squirt of deli mustard, it makes for a poor review. Soups are lacking genuine quality of homemade flavor. Don't make the mistake of ordering their soups. The brownie and cookie were good. Dietary restrictions: Kosher
My wife and I went there for the first time to try out their sandwiches. The customer service was horrible. We ordered two sandwiches and a soup. As it was our first time there and didn’t know they had two sizes of soup cups. The cashier didn’t ask me what size I wanted, she just asked what kind I would like, I got the barley soup. We got our order about 10 minutes of waiting and didn’t even get everything we ordered. We walked out to our vehicle and my wife looked in the bag to find we were missing my soup. We walked back in and told the cashier that we didn’t get our soup. She at first said she put it in there which she realized she didn’t and got me the soup in their smallest cup. I asked her if that was their only size cause I would like more than a tiny cup and it turned out they had more and she claimed I ordered the smallest size, which I didn’t. While we waited, another customer ordered soup and she asked him what size he would like, I didn’t get that kind of customer service. That young girl needs to get trained on how to be a good customer service employee towards everyone, not just a select few. Employees such as herself is what turns customers away. We won’t be going back there as the customer service was horrible and my sandwich was so full of mayonnaise and the bread got soggy very quick.
Just ordered the Smoke N Mo sandwich Beef Brisket & BBQ and it's probably the best food I've had in Alaska. Definitely the best brisket. Absolutely delicious food!
Excellent authentic deli! Meats all selections, actually are always flavorful, exactly what you'd expect. Never disappointed with anything I've ordered. Parking: Adequate parking.
As a native New Yorker this place is great. A taste of that authentic Jewish Delicatessen. Clean space, friendly staff, fair prices, good portions, fresh ingredients.
Taste something different today and stop by Mo's Deli and Catering. I ordered Mo’s Bagel and Lox $12.75 with a drink and chips. Don't let the prices dissuade your decision to eat here. These are not tiny bagels, so you'll get plenty of meat and veggies. I was full after eating one half of my meal. Refill soda drinks during your visit. There is a small bar next to the glass for those of you that like extra sunshine. Plenty of smaller tables for parties of 4. I was here at noon on Saturday and I saw two employees, so maybe it was a shift change. Employees are polite and they quickly complete your order.
Been coming to Mo’s for several years now and can’t say enough good things. Their staff is always friendly & kind, the service is quick, and the food is fantastic. My go-to is the Rueben and latkes, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Mo's has become a staple in my "favorites" and on my "recommend" list. Huge thanks to good friends J & R for introducing me! From the good natured repartee at the order counter, to the unrepentantly generous stack of deli meats on the sandwiches, you can count on Mo's being one of your Happy Places. Parking: Seemed like enough parking every time I've been there.
