The last few times I've ordered, the food has been at least 1/2 hour late. Tonight was no different, and when I called to ask where my order was, the manager started to tell me how they can get 10-15 orders in at one time. I said, "so you need more drivers," and she became quite rude and said she was trying to explain if I didn't interrupt her. When the food finally came it was cold and soggy. That's my last order with Mobile Waiters.
My family used this service many times after I had surgery and I was not able to go to the grocery store and we loved it. My only suggestions to people that are going to use a restaurant delivery service is to take your time when placing your order. I have found that most of the restaurants that use this service are actually located in your area. So if you place an order with Mobile Waiters give the restaurant about 6-12 minutes and call the actual restaurant not Mobile Waiters and if you had any special or unusual requests go over the order with the waiter, waitress, or in a lot of restaurants the bartenders handle the to go orders, and explain exactly what your special requests are and I have found that they take good care of you, and if something is forgoten or wrong. Mobile Waiters drivers have even gone back to the restaurant and corrected the order.
If I could post negative stars I would. I've been using mobile waiters for 4yrs now and never have I had such horrible service till now. On multiple occasions the food has arrived late and cold. When I called to complain they offered to give me a refund but said they had to come pick up the food they delivered to do so. That is obsurd. By no means do I want a free meal but how exactly does that lend itself to customer service. No compensation for their lack of efficiency and service. I'll be deleting my account with Mobil waiter ASAP. There are too many delivery options like uber eats, postmarked and grubhub to deal with horrible service.
Great service! I highly recommend Mobile Waiters, especially if you want to give someone a gift of a delivered meal. I live in Texas and wanted to deliver dinner to my parents in Atlanta as a gift. They love Maggiano's, so I tried to go through Doordash. I was disappointed to find that Doordash does not offer the option to pay before delivery, their gift card service is suspended, and they have no email or phone number to contact them. So, I called Maggiano's and they recommended Mobile Waiters. I spoke with a friendly, helpful contact who allowed me to pay by credit card over the phone and have the meal delivered to my family. It was delivered on time, the salads were cold and the entrees were hot, and the service was exceptional.
I've had nothing but great experiences with these guys. I've ordered food from a couple of restaurants through them about half a dozen times or so and they do a great job. The food is as described and packed well. The delivery time is usually about an hour, but most times its been sooner for me. Not sure if I'm ordering during "non-peak" times or what, but I love it and will continue to use them!
I don't understand the negative reviews unless the service is just way better out here in Sandy Springs than other areas served by the company within the city. On that note, I've used MobileWaitersAtl probably a dozen times in the last couple of months, and every time both the service and the food has been excellent. The delivery time is always less than the quoted time, and my food is always hot and delicious regardless of which restaurant I order from.
Absolutely hate this service. I ordered a simple meal nachos and had to wait the full 45 minutes to receive and then when I finally got my food the order was messed up. So we all know technology isn't perfect so the special instructions I included in my order somehow didn't make it to them and so they couldn't refund me or deliver me another order. The "customer service rep" I spoke to was rude and loud on the phone the first time she hung up on me. Nice touch! Then when I called back she was rude and loud and said that the mix up was not their fault and that there was nothing they could do but I could call this second number. So I did and the second person I talked to was totally disrespectful. She kept calling me girl and babe and said that she would call the restaurant and mobile waiter to see what she could do. She clearly didn't call anyone because she called me back 2 minutes later. Needless to say I didn't get my nachos or a refund just a measly $3 credit on my account. Which doesn't even cover delivery fees if I decide to ever use the service again. Total waste of my money and time. And I ended up having to spend more money to order a pizza.
Do not trust your food to this service. I only received half of my order when they initially delivered it. I had to call the restaurant and then call Mobile Waiters to have someone go back and get the rest of my order. It took an additional hour and a half for the rest of the order to arrive. I called the number on the website and spoke to "Genie" and she was unapologetic, not offering a customary "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." She was extremely abrupt and rude, which rubbed me the wrong way and turned me off even more to the entire service. Just make the trip to the restaurant of your choice and use their To-Go services because this is unreliable.
Used this service for first time last night; and sadly delivery time was late; on top of already somewhat slow/long delivery time given by the website when orrdering from just one restuarant. Also meals did not come as described on menus used on the site for our choices. I ordered a Chilis Avocado Chicken bacon sandwich meal with no special requests and sandwich had NO Avocado; almost looked like it had avocado on sandwich originally and someone removed it before delivery :O Also boyfriend ordered Chilis Burger that did not come exactly as menu read either. Very disappointing when paying $5.99 delivery charge plus good tip to driver.
GOOD BY MOBILE WAITERS - NEVER PUSH A SIDE UNLESS PROOF AND EVIDENCE IS IN FRONT OF YOU I ordered lamb, mash potatoes and grilled veggies and a pecan brownie from Outback Restaurant. They were out of the pecan brownie that was ok, but when I opened my plate of food there was a half of slice of pork bacon on my plate. As a Muslim we do not ever eat or have and pork n our homes, I called Mobile waiters to complain and the manager from Mobile Waiter kept telling me what the woman who packed it said that there was no pork back on the plate. I felt insulted because I have no reason to lie, outback is where I order this same dish each time and how can the manager push one side when he did not see my plate. I won't ever use this service again.
