Vanessa Lester is a wonderful person. She really has compassion for the people she is helping. It was such a blessing to deal with her.
If you’re looking for a van to rent or bar this place is awesome see Rachel she’s the best and everyone else is great as well five-star experience
DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE! Everything you do in life comes back at you. Hope you get it sooner than later. You’re STEALING from someone that provided a service for you. We need to pay bills, buy food, pay gas and you’re taking that away. You lied to get your money back and get a free service. SHAME ON YOU! Hope no ones does service with you anymore.
What a great company! I rented a full sized transit van from the Marietta office to take a friend on a weekend outing. Theresa was a huge help with the reservation and understanding my unique needs and even followed up with me to see how the trip went who does that these days??? and Scott gave me a great demonstration of the capabilities of the van. I have never transported a person in a wheelchair before, so I was very apprehensive. But everything went extremely well and we had an amazing weekend! Could not be more impressed with this company and its employees!
I was very impressed with the service. I needed a rental for the weekend. This was my 1st time operating a mobility accessible vehicle. Vanessa was very attentive and easily communicated all the features of the vehicle. My drive from Lawrenceville to Marietta and back was rewarding.
Very disappointing repair related experience. I took our 2010 Town and Country van in when the passenger door controlling the ramp was not opening remotely. I had done research and a neighbor who is a mechanic was confident it was repairable. I was told the entire operating system would need to be replaced and the representative immediately began trying to sell me a new van. Our 2010 van doesn’t even have 100,000 miles and works just fine excluding the door problem. I paid $135 for the visit and the written estimate for the repair was $2950.00. The van was eventually repaired by R&R Vans in Conyers for $1485.00! It would have been even less but I paid extra to have a part shipped overnight. I was told by the mechanic that they have had other MW customers with similar stories. It’s regrettable and disappointing not to have an honest wheelchair van mechanic in Cobb.
The staff has always been willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of. Van broke down a few months ago and they actually stayed late to make sure I was able to come rent one, and did everything they could to help us. Without the good people at Mobility Works we would have literally been stranded on the side of the road with no good options. I will always take my business here, even if it's out of my way. Pricing is very fair considering the level of quality and service.
Inadequate repairs. I actually bought this van from Mobility Works. The service department seems like they're intent on making you a 2 or 3 times a year customer because something was always going on with my van's lift. I was there 2 times within a year and it cost me $89.00 & $150.00. Zero days warranty on repairs.. After the 3rd break down I'd had enough. I was so disgusted I asked them how much would it be to change the van's lift into a manual version to avoid future problems and cost. I was told over $200 plus dollars. He just spewed it out like he made up a number. That's when I decided enough is enough. I shopped around to look for someone to make my van w/ lift non remote dependant. After being referred to an honest lift repair man w/ mobile service who said he could do the job but at a higher price, he advised me to go back to Dodge dealer which is maker of van and have them simply put the latch back on remote doorwhich was removed for remote opening and it will be back in manual mode. Believe it or not that took 20 minutes and cost me a total of $25.00, parts & labor. SMDH.
The reality is that being handicapped makes life a little harder. Mobility Works makes life EASIER! They are easy to work with, are pleasant to work with, and understand the unexpected challenges of a life when you are disabled. I CANNOT recommend this company enough
Disabled Veterans, steer clear of these guys. They will tell you that they have inside info from the VA Finance dept that your auto/mod grants has been approved and that you'll be getting the VA paperwork in the mail in two or three days. Then, they will attempt to sell you a van before you get the VA approval documents. Don't fall for the scam. After selling you the van, they'll ask you not to tell the VA that you have the vehicle. As with any major purchase, get everything in writing. Don't trust any salesperson's verbal assurances. A salesman by any other name Mobility Consultant is just a salesman.
