My siblings and I love dancing here !!! Great place to be if you’re looking for a “Blast from the Past!” They do lessons before their dances! And offer weekly lessons too! Sometimes the have a live band! Their bartenders are super friendly! You can dance if you’re under 21! Check out their website for the schedule!
Been going to Mobtown before it was called Mobtown. Always a pleasure to be there. Super friendly community. Diverse, inclusive, and a great place to learn and dance. Awesome bar, awesome bar tenders and the drinks are killer. The owner, Michael, is always on the dancefloor and walking around to talk with guests. Love it there.
Started a Lindy Hop class here. Great fun. They have several different classes for dancing and silks/hoops etc. They also have open dances with a 1 hour lesson before so anyone new can learn some basic steps and then stay for the open dance fun afterwards. Highly recommend giving it a try. You will probably love it. They also have a bar so you can enjoy a drink while dancing. I had an ancient mariner. Delicious!
Not that sort of swing club. Sorry Good to be able to learn swing dancing and participate first day without any prior knowledge. An interesting first date possibility
Took a swing dancing class here it was so much fun everyone was so open and welcoming. And the drinks were tasty
I go to the square dance on the first Saturday, cannot complain about this place. Good staff, clean enviroment. A swinging good time
Mobtown Ballroom is the home of the bi-monthly Baltimore Square Dance featuring the best live old-time music and dance calling on the eastern seaboard. No experience necessary; all dances and dance moves are taught on the spot. Come with friends or come alone and make new friends. Named as "Baltimore's best party you didn't know was happening" by Baltimore Magazine, now you know and have no excuses for missing out on the fun. Upcoming dances are on December 5 and January 18 at 8pm.
1st time here. Loved the place. Only has street parking so be prepared to parallel park. And it's the city so just be mindful of your surroundings. With that said, can't wsit to go back. Really want to learn how to ballroom dance.
Went there for a masquerade party. Its in a nice location jist minutes away from Downtown.Had a good time, the place is nice, organized, and clean. Hopefully i will get invited to other events there.
Friendly place to dance, if you're a beginner, come early and try to stay late, practice makes fun! And as long as you use words, feel encouraged to ask others to dance.
