MAT has good people; drivers, office staff, cleaners, etc "*****" 5 stars. But management "*" 1 star and its Kansas City envy has reduced the number of bus stops OBIT on Dodge, multiple bus transfer stops, etc. I give 5 stars to staff, but only 1 star to management.
Everyone I've ever met that works at Metro is very friendly! Buses always clean and do not have weird smells unlike certain other cities
I love all the new updates at the transit centers.the TVs they added to show the times buses get there or leave helps a lot .
The Best Place To Work. Amazing Crew We Have. Good Pay & Great Benefits. Nice Location. Advancement Opportunities.
I have never come in contact with ruder bus drivers in my life wish I could give a zero
I kinda like having around many routes since Early August. And I do wanna tour around the City of Omaha that I'm going myself via Metro Bus. At the first time riding in, I felt like I'm worried if the bus comes around and it goes during the progress. Furthermore, I do like to enjoy riding Metro buses that I'm more riding around the areas of going which Routes I'm heading to. I was riding on almost all routes where the Metro Buses goes to. That I'm much of myself seeking what's the place around and some locations. Even I am impressed that it can take me almost anywhere I like to go for myself. I appreciate the Ometro buses where it's going to.
I am new to the bus system and the first bus I got on had a nice guy that explained what I should do for my route. When I got back to the bus stop after doing the shopping I needed done this new bus driver gave me attitude on a transfer because I didn't know if I had to tell him or not. Well apparently he decided not to because I got to my transfer spot and the bus arrived and he told me that transfer ticket didn't work for this way. Very mad, I had to wait an hour for another bus that turned to be the first bus driver I got, I would give this 1 star but because how nice that first driver was I believe it's not as bad because 1/3 drivers were nice to me for not being a city boy.
I've been riding or at least trying to ride the 11 bus to and from work the past couple weeks. Thw drivers are very nice. The Buses often arrive very early or very late and so most of my time is spent waiting to see if I missed the bus or if it will just be ten minutes late again. I have been waiting at my stop for the last 40 minutes, during that time tworks buses were supposed to come...I think I am going to have to find a more reliable means of transportation.
The stop that I was using didn't have any signs to indicate that it was not in service. The representative who "assisted" me was not helpful. Reminding her of myself as someone being exposed to very cold temperatures while waiting for a bus that ultimately never arrived did nothing to resolve my problem; she continued to be argumentative.
Needed the #13 @ 30th and L. Online said it would be there and I called customer service twice to make sure I was on the proper corner. They confirmed and I watched as the bus went right past me and turned South. My advice, I know it sucks, but walking where ever you want to go is much more reliable. Not user friendly at all. If you don't live on Dodge St you can't get anywhere else on an Omaha bus.
