Moda Capelli Salon

I love Moda Capelli so much. I've been coming here for 10 years and get tons of compliments on my hair---Tony always does such a fantastic job and on the few occasions when he hasn't been available, so have the other stylists. The salon works hard constantly to improve their services. Recently they switched their hair color line and I'm really happy with the results. The Bear Barber "man cave," featuring Chicago Bears and other sports decor, is great too---I may not be a guy, but I am from Illinois. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about Joe and the team at Moda Capelli! My mom was not happy with her hair stylist and was not feeling very confident about how she looked. She was feeling down about being stuck inside during the beginning of Covid. I called and spoke to Joe’s wife. I explained how my mom was feeling and I asked if they could help her to feel pretty again. My siblings and I got her a gift certificate and gave it to her for Christmas 2020. Throughout the year my mom went and had her hair cut and styled by Joe. Every time she would come back from the salon she would call me and tell me how much she loves Joe and his wife. She loved how he listened and took the time to cut and style her hair so she could feel happy and confident again. That meant the world to me, my siblings and especially to my mom! Thank you so, so much for brightening my mom’s day! She will be back this year with another gift certificate from us!

I'm so happy with the service at Moda Capelli Salon. I wanted to try out balyage coloring on my untreated hair. I couldn't have picked a better spot based off of positive reviews to get started with coloring. My colorist was Jordan and she really did a beautiful job on my hair and made me feel comfortable with the process every step of the way. I've gotten several compliments on my hair color since my appointment. Jordan let me know that I could revisit for a glaze if I wanted to retouch the color. Otherwise, balyage is meant to be grown out naturally and doesn't need high maintenance. I would definitely return to Moda for another color service or a haircut next time I'm in the area.

Domonique is amazing! She is very friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. She is great at what she does, and has great passion doing so. I was extremely pleased with how she did my updos for my bridal shower and wedding and my wedding make-up. I very rarely get my hair cut, and when I do it is a small trim. However, I needed a big change and I knew that Dominique would be the person for the job. She did an excellent job cutting my hair! She made my hair have some volume by cutting beautiful layers. I did not want to go to short and she did the exact lenghth I wanted. She listens to what her clients want and ensures that they are very happy when they leave the salon. I will definitely be going back to Dominique for my next haircut to maintain the look she gave me. I highly recommend anyone to have Dominique do any of your hair and/or make-up needs.

All the staff was kind. My hair is so long I had two working miracles on my hair. I brought a photo of my inspiration and they match it perfectly as if it were the photo. Super pleased and would recommend Moda Capelli to anyone looking for the perfect hair.
