Oh my goodness- I absolutely love my eyebrows! This was my first time at Modern Artistry and my 7th time receiving brow tattoos. Yen’s staff and the studio atmosphere were by far the best I’ve ever experienced. Everyone was so friendly, professional, thorough and results driven. From booking to results, everything was great. I got my eyelash extensions done here for the first time and they did an amazing job! I also got a facial here, they have a deal going on that I found on Instagram and oh my, one of the best experiences ever. For the facial, I got the brightening/glow service and it was so relaxing, I actually fell asleep while they were doing it haha. When the facial was finished, Lina came in to massage my arms with some body oil— it was so nice to get a deep massage after a facial. I will definitely come back here to take advantage of their deal that’s going on. when I looked in the mirror, my skin was hydrated, I had 2 pimples on my face before the facial and when it was done, they were basically invisible/gone. My skin literally looked so much brighter too! I have eczema and the products they used on my face were non irritating and never stung one bit. For the eyelash extensions, I kept tearing up but it’s not the technicians fault. I just have sensitive eyes in general, she even gave me a cute little brush to brush my eyelashes and gave me some tips on how to maintain my extensions since I’ve never had them before. I had a great experience today with Yen. She was very kind and gentle while doing my eyebrows needed reshaping and reshading. Yen Cao did color correction on my brows which were previously done by someone at another business and I was very unhappy with them. I very much appreciated the fact that Yen does precision measuring the other business did not do that and drawing of the brows then gets your approval before doing the permanent brows. I understand that because my old brows were somewhat dark in color the correction did not completely cover up the old color but I did see a noticeable difference for the better. I will have my follow up touch up session soon and I do hope and I do believe that will do the trick. BTW, there was no pain when Yen did my brows. Yen also performed a microneedling session for me which has helped by somewhat decreasing the deep forehead lines. Yen is very professional and patient. Last week I went for my eyebrows touch up with Ruby and she made it fuller and I received so many compliments. Between the ambiance in the room and the process itself being painless that I fell asleep during the session . The entire experience was definitely relaxing considering the process for permanent eyebrows Fast FWD to today and I went for a microneedling session with Mrs. Yen herself! I want to describe the pain level and experience while it’s fresh in my mind . First off, I did two different sessions- Nano Microneedling & Microneedling RF separate transactions. The first session NM felt like a slow peck from a birds beak where the needle point was big enough to just be annoying. Pain level between 1-10, was a 0. However some areas of my face I may rate as a 2 but not enough to bite my lip kind of pain. You could tell the needle point changes to a finer feeling in some areas. Then there’s a different needle to go over the eyes which feels like a vibration with no pain. I was thinking to myself- yes, pound those dark circles away ! The second session MRF was a pain level 2 on the forehead but thank goodness it was quick. However, I didn’t feel it anywhere below the temple area down to my cheeks and chin. Amazing! Overall with the numbing cream, the process was painless!Service: Microneedling
