Modern Rebel and Amy were amazing, we can’t say enough praise about them. Amy worked with us for over a year, guiding us through big decisions and helping us visualize our ideas with all the amazing vendors. When we first met with Amy, we thought we had challenging criteria, we wanted a huge modern, well-designed space, an insane dance party and to have as many BIPOC & women-owned businesses as possible. Modern Rebel delivered exactly that, pairing us up with amazing vendors, designers, and performers and helping us find moments to make it feel exclusively ‘us’ in the process. We told people the whole time that planning our wedding would have been impossible without her. One thing we will really miss is our monthly check-ins and having someone be so present with us while planning such a special day for ourselves and our families. Amy is calm and always knows what to do, and she can be straight with you which is so important. All her colleagues also step in and assist whenever needed, which is seamless, and shows it is a really well-run company. When we told her we wanted a reception with couches, cannabis, video games, and no dance floor, she embraced the challenge enthusiastically! Amy and the team at Modern Rebel are the best of the best. We hired them for partial planning and design after postponing our wedding for a year due to Covid-19. They helped us restart the planning process and bring our vision to life by recommending amazing vendors and imparting their wedding planning/relationship wisdom. We asked them to help us plan a wedding unlike any wedding done in our venue space before and without question they hopped on board with our vision and helped us bring it to life better than we had imagined. Simply put, we cannot imagine having gotten married without the help of Modern Rebel. We opted for full-planning and Amy kept us on track every step of the way, thinking of all the things we never would have thought of and keeping a very disorganized couple as organized as possible. I wish there were a sixth star because Amy, and the Modern Rebel team, could not have been more perfect, or put together a more perfect wedding with us. They not only stuck with us but guided and supported us through two years of COVID postponements and hassles, and made us feel reassured and excited about our wedding no matter how many panicked emails we sent. We lost track of the number of times we turned to each other and said, "thank god we hired Modern Rebel." Amy didn't just help us find and navigate vendors/contracts/logistics like a complete pro, but she understood our vision at times better than we did! and every single suggestion and piece of advice she gave us made the final product 10x better. As a queer couple, we always felt like she just GOT it and understood even the little things on our mind when it came to planning a wedding. She shot us straight when we needed to weigh options, helped cut through BS when we ran into issues with vendors, and helped us understand every single one of the steps ahead at every point in the process. Somehow, she actually made each one feel doable and fun instead of daunting and overwhelming. When the wedding finally came, she handled everything perfectly and smoothly and we literally did not stress for one second of the entire weekend. She checked in on us just the right amount, anticipated every possible need, and kept everything precisely on schedule without ever making anything or anyone feel rushed or cut short. Even our friends specifically pulled us aside at the wedding to tell us how lovely our planner was, and what a perfect tone she set for the event. We could never, ever have pulled this off without Amy and the Modern Rebel team especially through a pandemic. And if we had, our wedding wouldn't have been even a fraction as perfect as it was. We are so grateful, we're sending every couple we know their way, and we can't wait to attend our next MR wedding ourselves. Don't hire anybody else—this is the one.

Wow! Our wedding day and the month leading up couldn't have been easier and that is greatly due to the help of Brittany at Modern Rebel. We hired her for day of coordination and she seamlessly picked up right where we left off with planning. She worked so well with each of our vendors and made sure to be on top of everything leading up to our big day! She was also just the sweetest and easiest person to work with. Her calmness, organization and follow through made me stress free throughout the entire day.

We worked with Adriana as our month-of coordinator, and she absolutely is responsible for how amazing of a wedding we had. Her attention to detail and completeness in her planning--while not overwhelming us with too many communications--meant that we were free to enjoy the day and not worry about any of the logistics. And I say this as someone who was skeptical that we needed a coordinator: WE ABSOLUTELY DID and Modern Rebel ABSOLUTELY delivered. Especially in uncertain COVID times, Adriana helped us create and execute a plan that made us and our guests feel safe, and we all got to party exactly was we wanted to. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Adriana and Modern Rebel.

Amy and the Modern Rebel team were an absolute joy to work with. We were definitely not the "easiest" clients in terms of responsiveness and strong opinions. But they somehow took care of all of the details, kept us on a reasonable timeline, and were somehow able to deliver an incredible wedding experience that felt precisely "us." From the initial meetings to the day-of coordination and beyond, Modern Rebel was the perfect partner for our perfect day.

When my husband and myself started our planning to celebrate our nuptials, we knew we didn’t want to do it the traditional way, but in a way that would celebrate our authentic selves. Working with Modern Rebel allowed us to accomplish that with our amazing Love Party. From the moment we met Molly and explained our vision for the evening, she instantly understood it and ensured that our final version came to fruition. Through the final stages and leading up to our Love Party, Molly put us at ease and allowed any moments of stress to dissipate. During the evening, she and the team allowed us to enjoy the night and not have to worry about anything including a tropical storm and in the end, it was an amazing evening that was filled with a lot of love.
