Notice how all of the 1 star reviews left have many likes and the 5 stars have none. Bit aggressive when I suggested I did not want to purchase anything cosmetic until I did my own research. Very pushy to sell. Also attempted to charge for a second appointment simply because I wanted to discuss two separate issues. Ended up caving and discussing both issues but only after being reminded he was an hour late for the appointment to begin with.
The entire staff was professional and friendly. Dr. Malik was very thorough and took care of several of my different dermatological issues on the very first visit! Great job Dr. Malik, Thank you.
I definitely had a great experience. They took care of both my daughters and myself. The front lady was very pleasant and helpful. The doctor listen to all the concerns and even made appropriate referrals.
Didn't show up to appointment, didn't return my call and then charged me for the appointment he missed.
Excellent access to high quality care. Efficient and helpful. Large office building complex - a little tricky to find the office on the first visit. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
I've had a very difficult time with the receptionists. They are consistently condescending on the phone when I try to get updates on labs or ask questions. Dr. Malik, while knowledgeable, was disrespectful to me, using the phrase "dot my i's and cross my t's in reference" as if I was just another task on his checklist. He even used the phrase "depression thing" which made me feel extremely insignificant and as if my mental health was not legitimate or worthy of his time. I know that it is a new office but that does not warrant any reason for patients to be treated as if they are a bother or a waste of anyone's time. Medical offices and insurance are very complex and not everyone has access to support or the knowledge for patient advocacy. So, the attitude and patience of medical professionals and staff is an important mitigator of stress when navigating the additional stress of personal health issues.
The staff is unprofessional. They didn’t call in two prescriptions. I called this morning to ask them to rectify the . The receptionist picks up. Doesn’t “ask” if I can hold. Just sent me to hold. Leaves me on hold for 10 minutes. Never comes back. I hang up. I call back. Does this again and again. Finally came back but then doesn’t comprehend they need to resend the prescriptions when I tell her my pharmacy did not receive the prescriptions.
I spent less than 30 minutes with the PA. I have never met the doctor. They billed my insurance $466. Insurance covered less than half, leaving me with $247 for a minor, quick visit which did not include anyone with a medical degree. For comparison, my annual check up, with a real doctor was just $115.
My first visit with Dr. Malik and he was great. Very personable and extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything and patiently answered my questions. I was very nervous and he put me at complete ease. I would recommend him without hesitation. The office staff was also very pleasant.
Dr Malik is extremely rude & his assistants are unprofessional.
