I had an excellent experience with Mr. Robby! His professionalism and polite customer service were greatly appreciated. He arrived on time with a friendly demeanor and took extra care when handling items in my home. The work was done efficiently, and now my AC unit is running perfectly. I truly believe Mr. Robby would make an excellent Customer Service trainer for other HVAC technicians at t Moncrief Heating & Air Conditioning. I’ll definitely be sharing my positive experience with family and friends. Thank you for the outstanding service, Mr Robby!
Moncrief service was very good. I was able to get an appointment within a day. The servicemen came promptly. I was informed about the time of arrival. It appears they did a thorough job but only time will tell. They performed a workaround to help us have ac while we wait for a definitive fix. It is not inexpensive
Showed up on time, walked me through different options and pros/cons/pricing. We’re competitive on pricing with another well-rated group who quoted the job. Installed a new upstairs unit in less than a day. Unit stopped working shortly after they left and I called that evening and within a hour someone came out and spent an hour cleaning out and re-routing the old drainage line and things have worked great since that time. Appreciated the quick attention and thorough job on short and late notice. Will definitely call if/when my other unit needs to be replaced in the future.
Luis and his professional colleagues from Moncrief were incredibly efficient, thorough, and informative when they installed my new heat pump and air handler. They were interested in my questions and answered them completely. They kept me informed throughout the installation procedure and they did so cordially. I would immediately ask for Moncrief’s team to work with me again if needed!
Update to add: the office manager called me back after the review posting and offered to send a lead tech out free of charge which was very nice. Updating my review to reflect their accommodations. I wouldn't share this unless I genuinely felt I was being taken advantage of or ripped off by this company. My AC unit went out last month and Moncrief came to fix it. I paid just under $1k to have the technician replace 2 capacitors and service the unit. I was told the unit was old and would need to be replaced eventually not immediately as I just paid a hefty fee to repair it. Fast forward to today exactly 34 days after paying said hefty fee, and my unit has stopped working again. I called Moncrief and told them about the problem and assumed there would be no home travel charge $120 to come look at it again as they were just here and I just spent a good amount of money with them. I was wrong - even though it's just a mere 4 days outside of their "30 day policy" they said they would charge me another travel charge and diagnostic and repair charges to follow. It was then immediately offered to me to send a sales tech out to quote me a new unit. The timing of their policy along with them assuming I will buy a new unit from them today is far too convenient and slimy a business practice for me. Since there is no warranty for their work, I have decided to use another company for additional repairs or unit replacement because it felt as though I was being scammed today.
Our experience with Barry was great. He's obviously super knowledgeable, did a great job explaining what's going on and was overall helpful in diagnosing and finding a solution to the problem. They're probably a little higher priced than other companies but I think their level of customer service makes it worth it.
Robby was terrific. He is professional and friendly at the same time. He explained everything thoroughly and made everything tidy before leaving. I feel so much more confident now that I signed up for their service contract.
Robbie was the best technician I’ve ever had here. He spent a long time and really got everything set up perfectly. He made some valuable suggestions for improvements, but was not pushy about them.
The technician was fabulous today. He noted a safety problem on our furnace and explained the issue. He was able to get the quote and fix it in a couple of hours during his visit saving me a visit fee.
The service we received from this company was fantastic! We were able to easily schedule a NEXT DAY appointment online. The next morning, they provided great updates of when the technician would arrive. The technicians Robby and Shawn were very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to us. They were also very courteous and cleaned up after themselves!
