If you're considering going to Monica's you definitely should make an appointment asap. they were able to get me in last minute and catered to my schedule as well. i went from my long grown out brown hair that i hadn't had a cut since the pandemic, to cute layers and curtain bangs plus a balayage. The prices are great in comparison to other salons in the area and my hair turned out better than I expected. They are super sweet and accommodating over there and i even got to meet their sweet puppy charlie, easily the highlight of my day. Mark is very great and skilled hair stylist. I received SO MANY compliments on my haircut as well as my toned color. His prices are reasonable. He’s very good, he personalizes his treatments of the hair to each client and if I lived in New Jersey/New York, he’ll definitely be my all time regular stylist! Honestly, this might be the best haircut I’ve ever gotten.

Mark is a great guy, simple, easy going and cuts hair well. I've received many compliments from my haircuts from him. His prices are very reasonable and he's just a great guy!

Cute neighborhood salon owned by long time Hoboken locals. Mark fixed my Covid self-cut so I could face my friends and family in real life again. It looks a million times better. Will be back!

Monica’s is an awesome iconic salon adding charm to the hoboken neighborhood. Mark is very warm and welcoming to all who walk-in. He has a friendly vibe offering snacks for the kids, treats for the dogs and beverages for you. He is a talented and gifted hair stylist. He takes the extra time to listen and understand the look I am going for. He makes sure I am comfortable with the process before he begins. This is the second time Mark has given me a full foil highlight and cut. I’ve been blessed both times. He had taken my drab damaged hair and transformes it to a lighter, shiny and happy healthy hair. It has been a great experience both times and I highly recommend to anyone.

I'm very, very very, picky with my hair. I just moved here and was unsure where to go to. Mark definitely made me feel comfortable and gave me great hair advice. I love this place! Hes a great stylist. My hair came out fantastic! Definitely recommend.
