The service of Monroe Bus Company was completely irrelevant. The first bus that my fellow classmates and I got on was filthy and looked like it was a charter bus from the 1950's. There was not enough room on the bus for people to fit which caused arguments. The driver of the bus was very rude to the teachers of PS/IS 323. We had to go to the Bronx to change to a different bus. The next bus we got on was clean. But there were no lights in the bathroom. So whenever we had to go to the bathroom we had to use the flashlights from our phone. There were less arguments on the second bus. My classmates and I thought it was very relaxing. The driver of the second bus was very reassuring and knew how upset we were about the situation. Although the mixup with the buses were very bad, we made the best out of it at our senior trip.
The service at Monroe Bus Company was terrible. My 57 classmates and I each payed $80 each for a relaxing and comfortable ride where we all had our own individual seats but that wasn't the case with our experience. We were given a broken down bus that was far from the coach bus that we expected to receive. There weren't enough seats for all of the students to fit so 3 to 4 students had to sit in seats that were only able to seat 2 people at most. The ride was uncomfortable for some of the students and it wasn't a relaxing ride. The bus company didn't come to school on the time that was posted for us to leave for the trip and then gave us another delay by having us go to the Bronx to change our buses. Even, though they switched our buses and gave us a more comfortable ride, this was not the experience that I wished to have for my Senior Trip. I hope that the bus company will improve their services after reading this review
This bus service is okay the first bus was horrible no room people sitting on each others laps it was uncomfortable. The second bus was roomy and it was comfortable to sleep in and comfortable enough to relax for the whole two hours. But overall they need to get they bus drivers in check cause they not gonna be talking to my teachers a certain way.
The service at Monroe Bus Company was awful. My classmates and I each payed $80 for a relaxing ride, but it didn't turn out as planned. We were given a broken down bus with uncomfortable seats not even enough seats. The bus was not exactly how we pictured it. There weren't enough seats for all of the students to fit so some students were siting on each other while others were squished together with 3,4 students in a 2 seater chair. The ride was uncomfortable for some of the students and it wasn't a relaxing ride. The bus company didn't come to school on the time that it was suppose to arrive. We had another delay when we had to go to the Bronx for a bus transfer where we arrived later than we were suppose to arrive. This was not what we had expected for our senior trip. We hope this review help Monroe Bus Corporation to better their services.
I’m using Monroe Bus company for over 10 years. I feel important to let everyone know about the amazing experiences I’ve been having with this wonderful company! Firstly; the punctuality of the busses is absolutely amazing, the drivers are all, one by one wonderful. They maintain the buses and clean them, they are absolutely outstanding! I’ll admit that I wasn’t always 100% happy yet that is normal. But overall, they are an amazing company always ready to listen to all clients’ critic and they really fix whatever is needed. What I really love about the company is that they keep on upgrading; They recently installed USB cables in all buses & that is a real bonus! I love them!! I can run to the bus knowing that I can charge my phone while relaxing. Keep up your great job!!!
The service of Monroe Bus Company was terrible. The bus was dirty and didn't have enough space for everybody. Three or four people had to sit In a two people seat. Plus the bus driver was really disrespectful. We were suppose to leave our school at 6:45 and we had to wait almost three hours for a dirty bus. We had to go to the bronx to go to a bus which had enough space for all of us. We got to holiday hills at 12:30 which didn't give us enough time to enough ourselves. Instead of having seven hours to enjoy ourselves we only had four hours.
Our school has used this company for nine years to transport our students to Connecticut for our annual Senior Trip. We confirmed our reservation the day before the trip and were assured that our bus would arrive promptly at 6:30am for an on time departure at 6:45am. Our staff and students arrived at the school at 6:15am and waited approximately two and a half hours before our bus arrived. Instead of the luxury coach bus we reserved, a very antiquated bus pulled up. We immediately contacted the dispatcher who attempted to rectify the situation by offering us a bus that we could transfer to once we got to the Bronx. Reluctantly we loaded our students onto the bus, many of them cramped three students to two seats. Disappointed but determined to make the best of a bad situation, we resolved to enjoy the ride to the Bronx and continue our day. At 9:20am, the bus driver pulls into a gas station, parks the bus and proceeds to give us a piece of his mind. He turns to the six educators on the bus, removes his headset on which he had been having several personal conversations about someone who may have been arrested and says to us, "Listen, I am going to get gas but before I do this I just want to say to you all that the chatter has got to stop. I don't have anything to do with this bus. They called me at 2:30 out of my bed to come from Delaware to help them out. All I'm saying is that the chatter has to stop because I'm a different type of breed". We were appalled! What exactly does "different type of breed" mean? We could only assume that he was threatening us. Out of respect for our students we decided to address his behavior with the company instead of engaging in a verbal altercation with a clearly disrespectful and unprofessional person. When a representative from the company, Mr. Murray, finally returned our phone calls, he expressed his apologies and asked how he could make things right. At 9:45am we are still in NYC when we should be arriving at our destination in Connecticut. Unfortunately, our students will only have two hours to enjoy the facilities when they should have been able to enjoy up to seven hours of fun. We are disappointed and angry. As a Title 1 school many of our students families have to sacrifice to be able to afford the cost of the senior trip. Monroe Bus Company failed to uphold the standard previously set by our other experiences with them. Moving forward, we will spend our money with a transportation company who values our children.
on June 7th me and my classmates were going on our senior trip to holiday hill. I had an horrible experience on the bus. the driver was very disrespectful . There is was not even enough space on the bus. A lot of my classmates had to share seats and sit on each other laps. On our trip we arrived there late . And if wasn't for your bus company we would of had more time on our trip to enjoy. Thanks a lot
This is a bad bus company the bus was supposed to be at my school by 6:30 and it got there by 8:45 which was 1 big delay. The bus was broken down its was to small for all my classmates some of them had to sit on each laps and the seat were uncomfortable. The bus driver was also rude and disrespectful we had to go to the bronx to change to a bigger and nicer bus. By the time we got to holiday hill it was 12:30 and we only had 4 hours left instead of 7 hours
this bus company was horrible, no buts no if's it was bad. we had to leave at 6:30 but ending up leaving late due to the bus not only was it late. the bus was horrible, it smelled the driver had an attitude. we was stuck together like glue, it was horrible. we had to switch buses, in the bronx the time we was suppose to be arriving to the place was the time we got on the bus. we had a little bit of hours at the place. i was not impressed, sadly coming from an 8th grader.
