Consistently do not answer phone and take hours to get back to you. Staff is rude and inconsistent. Choose your words carefully when requesting a sick appointment , they will automatically assume you have Covid then suggest a virtual appointment. Regardless of if you've tested negative twice. During virtual appointments they cannot properly examine you, I.e run strep test, hear chest for fluid build up and look in ears. Once you express your displeasure they tell you to go to urgent care which is 9/10 out of network.
This entire office non medical staff is horrible. They are rude, don’t care about patients and seems like hate their jobs. Doctors and medical staff are top notch. Called for a sick visit virtual appt and was told nothing is avail with any of the Dr so go to ER. Told the staff I took a COVID test 3 days in a row but coming negative and she said it’s false positive you have COVID so goto ER. I’m appalled how a non medical staff is diagnosing what’s wrong with me who I should see. Hope the calls are recorded and someone takes proper action.
Left several messages to schedule a new patient appointment, never heard back. Seems to be a common issue. I don't blame the staff, I blame the doctors who continue to employ them. If the doctors can't run a competent practice, I'm certainly not trusting them with my health care.
Been going here for 4 years, the front staff has gone from bad to worse. Impossible to get a call back message to the doctor unless you justify over and over again what you need to discuss. Kept getting re-directed to make an appointment even after I informed them that my next appointment is in 2 weeks.
My son called the office to try to get bloodwork done and to set up an appointment with any of the Dr.'s. My son tried PT for over 2 months after going in after an appointment with w a nurse practitioner at office. He couldn't go since the last PT ended up hardly being able to move much. When he called today, he said he would call back when he can get in the car. When he finally reached a different receptionist, she couldn't put 1 plus 1 together to go in for the bloodwork and see anyone who can see him. He lives w us to take care of us since we have medical problems. I backed the car out and I re injured my knee. He called, told that receptionist he must come in now, even if he can come home for appointment. Not helped 1 bit.
Top 10 worst customer service experiences! One of the worst group of receptionists I’ve ever encountered. It is like a game trying to get in touch with them for anything. I tried calling to reschedule an appointment and after about 5 attempts, I finally reached someone. You would think something as simple as rescheduling would be seamless. Well definitely not with this group. I simply asked the receptionist to wait one moment while I checked for my insurance card which I wasn’t required to provide when I initially scheduled the appointment and after about a minute, she hangs up on me without asking if I am still there. Then, I immediately call back after finding my card LITERALLY 10 times in a row and no answer. This is absolutely ridiculous customer service and extremely unprofessional. I’m not sure how they can still hold their jobs as one of their MAIN responsibilities is to answer the phone, and they can’t even do that. Unbelievable... And no, they are not just busy, because I’ve called various times of day and days of the week and get the exact same results. Oh, and leaving a message is also pointless as they will not call you back...Making an appointment to see a doctor is stressful enough and with this crew, they make it absolutely worse. I really hope something can be done about this because this is not how a doctors office should be run. On a side note, this review is no reflection at all to the doctors at this location, simply the receptionists. However, it is unfortunate that I may have to consider searching for a new doctor simply because of the receptionists at this location...
I have been a patient here for 15 years without any complaints and do not understand the negative reviews. I have never waited for more than 10 minutes for any appointment. All phone messages are returned within 24 hrs if not the same day. The level of health care is excellent and efficient. Rx are filled promptly. Unless my physician leaves the practice, I have no reason to change.
My internist, Dr.DelaCruz, whom I have seen for the longest tome is excellent but the front desk is terrible. Tried to make an appointment twice. Each time, the request went to the voice mail and nobody bothered to call back. I hope that now that the practice is affiliated with the prestigious Penn Medicine, they will strive to improve the awful customer service.
went in to get a medication 4 months ago. the doctor prescribed me my medication, but said if i wanted to get it long term, she recommends that i go in for a more in depth check up a month later. tried to make that appointment a month later, but my times didn’t line up with the doctors availability. two months later, now they are booked until January. went to pick up my prescription over a week ago and the pharmacy said the doctor denied it. i am not supposed to stop taking the medication suddenly. i expressed this to the pharmacy but they said they couldn’t do anything without the doctors approval. so i called the doctors office to ask them what was going on. they cut my prescription off because i haven’t made the appointment yet, which the doctor said wouldn’t happen, just that she recommends i go in soon. they told me that they would approve my prescription. go in two days later, doctor still denied my prescription. left a message directly after it was denied the second time and haven’t heard anything from them over 8 days later. so because they have no availability until 2 months down the line, they are cutting off my prescription that i need and am not supposed to cut off suddenly, and are not returning my calls. absolutely do not recommend them. ridiculous reason to deny someone’s prescription, and unprofessional to not approve it when they said they would, and then not return my calls.
Don't even bother, they deserve negative stars. This is the worst doctor I have ever been to, try to stick it out after moving to this country four years ago but to date have managed to have one annual check up four years ago. Can never get an appointment or someone to return my call. The staff is rude, the doctors are uninterested and the whole process leaves me feeling worse than when I started. I won't even start on their prescription practices, truly terrible. I have frequently ended up at RWJ in Hillsborough, they know how to run a practice that's for sure. These people do not.
