We have boarded our dog at montrose pet hotel a few times now. My dog can be finicky and slow to warm up to new people and environments but he runs tail wagging towards the door the second we drop him off which is the only proof I need. The staff all goes above and beyond. They are so professional, friendly and I can tell they genuinely care about the animals that stay with them. My dog always comes back smelling clean and with a fun little report card summarizing his stay which is a nice touch. I am confident when I leave my dog at MPH he is in good hands.
The BEST place to bring your dog. They take very good care of them and are communicative. We know that our girl is in the right hands when we are away.
Very helpful with making reservations, they returned my call. Our dogs were well taken care of. We got a sort of report card when picking them up that had a pic of them playing & a few notes on how they did, really liked that extra customer service effort. Friendly drop off and pick up staff. I will definitely use them again in the future.
My daughter sends 2 of her dogs to daycare, twice a week and at least once a month she leaves them overnight several days. They get excellent care and come home very happy. Best place ever.
Absolutely the best place to take care of my dog and the only place I trust completely. I have used their help on four different occasions over the last two years, my dog is always happy. Everyone I have met there is kind, friendly and patient, the place is always very clean. Communication has also been great: they never failed to send an email with a picture and reassure me that my dog was doing well. I very much appreciate the concern they showed when he got sick one day. We now use the vet in the same building - his experience has been priceless. Many thanks to all!!!
LOVE Montrose Pet Hotel! We boarded our greyhounds read: high maintenance! here in a double cabin. The care takers are so good with each animal - ours are big babies and they were handled with love and care into the kennel area. We received a printout detailing how their stay went along with a picture of each dog during play time. Play time is separate for each dog unless they are "siblings." Knowing that our favorite vet is now overseeing the Pet Hotel gives us peace of mind knowing our fur babies are getting the best care. Thank you Dr T!
Montrose Pet Hotel is fantastic. The people who work here are awesome and treat your pets like royalty. The behavioral notes and pictures of fur babies when you pick up are adorable and very helpful. I highly recommend.
I've been trying for the past year to find a good dog kennel near my house and the search is complete. I was a bit nervous about using them because of their location--in a strip mall of a major road. I didn't think the dogs would get much exercise but that turned out to be a non-issue. The staff was super friendly and very courteous, and their prices are very reasonable for the Fairfax area. The only quasi negative thing I would say is that they said they would send a pic of my dog, but I never received. It really wasn't that big of a deal to me but I just like it when people say they'll do something and follow through. On the other hand, they washed the blanket we had dropped off with our dog so that made up for it, to me. I will definitely be using Best Friends Pet care again in the future.
Wonderful experience with my dog KAP we were hesitant to take him to another boarding facility after a bad experience at centereville animal hospital but Andrew the office manger made us feel welcomed from the first call to when I checked him in to updated when we were away and a report card with a cute picture of him upon check out we look forward to bringing him to daycare and for KAP to feel like that is his second home when we are away for work/sports.
