Montrose Veterinary Clinic is a full service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our doctors have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. I recently had my first visit with my newly adopted dog. The vet tech that did our intake was too forceful with our dog and left him traumatized. The receptionist and veterinarian were helpful and treated us kindly. Unfortunately, we will not be returning due to the anxiety that was induced on my dog.
Brought my 8 year old dog in for the first time after moving to the area. Dr. Perry and all staff were friendly and the waiting area is spacious and comfortable. Dr. Perry was great with my very anxious dog, she let her sniff every device e.g. stethoscope before using it on her to get comfortable, and had me give her some spray cheese as a treat to distract her while getting her booster shots. My dog has never been that comfortable at a vet appointment still shaky and scared, but nowhere near as severe as it usually is. Thankful to have found such a lovely vet in such a convenient area.
Dr Perry has been very caring and taken wonderful care of my cats. With 2 elderly cats and 1 younger cat things come up and she has been very good at guiding me through what to worry about and what is not as bad. She has also been able to give me a range of treatments and helped me find options to care for the issues within my budget whenever possible without judgement.
Been taking my dog there since I first adopted her as a puppy. No complaints about the service. Recently tried to get an online prescription for the medication they recommended, but the order was canceled because the clinic indicated I wasn't a client. Well, I guess I'm looking for a new vet...
They took great care of our cat for many years and helped us with her passing over yhe eainbow bridge rest well Tangier.
We take our puppy here. Nice front staff and doctors! Always accomodating.
Great experience! Was easy to book an appointment without a long wait. They were extremely patient even though my dog can be a bit difficult. Checked back in on him a few days later as a courtesy — even though we had agreed his check in would be in 2 weeks. It’s nice to know your pet is not just a number.
Everyone was super friendly, and they have good policies in place for Coronavirus. Will definitely be back for the next appointment. 12-2020 Update: Still awesome, have been using them the whole time I've had my cat. No complaints.
